As with any pair of shoes these will take some time to break in but so far they fell good. Being leather and not synthetic break in will not take long.

I have had several pairs of Clark’s over the years. They are lightweight and comfortable and have a classic style that pairs well with casual or more formal wear. In my experience, they run a little long and narrow. So although I wear a size 9 in other brands, an 8 1/2 fits me perfectly. As I have narrow feet the width is fine, but if your foot is wider I would suggest a wide or extra wide. The quality is outstanding as well. I have a pair that is over 10 years old and which I wore on a trip to Europe with much walking. A little polish and still like new.

These are NOT the same outstanding quality of Clark's from 20 years ago. While they are better than what you can find in most small town shoe stores, they aren't the great quality they were... These seem to be small for 12 wide... And I've bought 2 other pair of 12EE boots/shoes in the past year.

Great shoe. Very comfortable and still holding up after much use.
