![Batwoman: Season 2 [DVD] [2021]](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Ffyqn0H0L.jpg)

At the end of the first season, Crows Commander Kane has declared war on Batwoman, forcing everyone around them to choose sides. Meanwhile, Alice is focused on acquiring the one thing that can take down the Bat, with the help of Bruce Wayne’s former best friend Tommy Elliot, now terrorizing the city as the villain Hush. Season two kicks off with a major game-changer that will alter Gotham and The Bat Team forever. A new hero emerges from the shadows. Relatable, messy, loyal, a little goofy, Ryan Wilder couldn’t be more different than the woman who wore the Batsuit before her, billionaire Kate Kane. Living in her van, Ryan has been made to feel trapped and powerless by the system her whole life, and believes the Batsuit is the key to breaking out of it. But what she’ll come to discover is that it’s not the suit that makes Ryan Wilder powerful, it’s the woman inside of it who finds her destiny in changing Gotham City for good. Review: Amazing - No complaints whatsoever! Review: Great season! - I was a fan of Kate Kane in season one but in season two I am even more drawn in by the acting, the characters and more. Each episode, while dark, as any Bat story tends to be, you will see a glimmer that brings you back each week. The episodes are action-packed, you get drama, mystique and more. I have enjoyed seeing Javicia Leslie embodying the Batwoman role and seeing her develop into the role. No person taking on the cowl will be able to fill a past Batperson's shoes right away. This is why they have a great team which we see in this series. You also see the humanity that this season's Batwoman has and that she is not fallible which makes her relatable. All-in0all, this was a great season and I am looking forward to season three!
