After opening this it appears & feels like garbage I could've picked up at a $store. I haven't used them yet so I will followup but as you can see in the pics 1 is clearly dirty/ gross a bit with black matter & it's not looking new or as picture depicts. Disappointed.

I use these to strain kefir grains, milk and water kefir. They are a bit small for the job. I’m grateful that they are holding up well having gone through the dishwasher dozens of times since purchasing. These would be fantastic if they were twice as large. I lose kefir grains every time I use them, which is frustrating. I appreciate the little hooks on the edge opposite to the handle to help with tapping the milk off the grains when straining.

These strainers work great for kefir grains and fit nicely on the mason jar. Easy to rinse off after use. Nice quality.

Using to strain milk kefir grains. These are sturdy and well made strainers. They are a bit too large to set firmly into a wide mouth mason jar, but work well on some bowls and glass measuring cups.

This product was misrepreseted as being double ear fine mesh. The lower one in my photo is true double ear fine mesh. The one at the top is a standard strainer mesh. Waste of money and strainer cannot be used for straining Kefir water. The baby grains get washed away.
