Jagwire Slick Stainless Steel Brake Cables Set

This cable has worked good for me. On an R8000 Ultegra system, I have not had one problem with the cable itself, only replacing it when replacing the outer housing or a new bike build. As for the Jagwire slick shifter cable on R8000, I’ve had them break inside the shifter housing(at the sharp bend) after 20-22 months, so I replace them by default at the 18 month mark whether they need it or not.

I've had to replace brake & derailleur cables relatively often before I started getting this brand. I don't think I've had to replace any since. I like how slick these feel in your hand, which means less resistance pulling through cable housings and less pressure pulling/pushing on levers and less stress on the cables.

So far so good, cheap fix!
