STAR WARSThe Black Series Princess Leia Action Figure, 6"

No Star Wars collection is complete without Leia. Whether it's Princess or General she's an iconic and essential part of the series and Natalie Portman did a great job of playing the "mother" of Carrie Fisher's Leia. You can definitely see a connection before the fierceness, the loyalty and the overall conscience of the characters. Very much like a real mother and daughter would be. I like the fabric robe, but with other figures opting for molded plastic/flexible plastic capes etc, I'm not sure why they don't do all the characters that way or this way. Just wish they would be more consistent. I think this one was supposed to be more old school to semi-mimic the original 12 that were released back on that fateful day back in 1977. She comes with two weapons, the one she had on her when she was captured in a New Hope and a Stormtrooper blaster that she picked up after the prison break. There is no holster for her gun. I know in the movie she wasn't showing a holster (but it could be under her robe) but many figures now have holsters and again I'd like them to be more consistent.

I was hyped to see this version of Princess Leia from the first film done in the 6" Black Series as her character was one of the first I ever bought after my eighth birthday (it was $1.50 back then). Her character was not the first I received back then, I had gotten the land speeder, Kenobi, R2-D2, Luke, Han, and Chewie. So coming from that version of her to this was an amazing leap. I'll admit I wasn't intended to start collected this line, but after they did Darth Revan and I saw how great the figure was I became hooked. The only thing I think I don't like is how her hood covers her face and how it lays down; it was the same with Ben Kenobi, but that is a minor point in my book. The painting is excellent and articulation is great.

This Princess Leia is from episode 4 you know where she tells obi-wan to help her because he's her only hope anyway this figure is cool to add to your star wars collection I just wish she had a more accurate face sculpt of the late Ms. Carrie Fisher when she was younger ala 1977 to me she looks more like a latina than Princess Leia not that I have a problem with Latinas I don't so calm down!!!!!!! I think a lot of them are very beautiful and sexy and with me you get bonus points if you're a latina you're beautiful and sexy and you're a star wars fan i'm just not a fan of the face sculpt I want my Princess Leia to look like Princess Leia she's still a cool figure to have in your Princess Leia/Star Wars Collection though. #RipForAllEternityMsCarrieFisher #LatinasAreBeautifulAndSexy

I am a beginner Star Wars action figure collector. This is the first figure, and I was afraid the quality wouldn't satisfy me. She is great, however, with very clear facial features that remind me of the actress. This is a great gift idea for anyone that likes the movies.

This was a gift request from our granddaughter for Christmas. I was going to buy the usual 11/12" version but her Mom said they preferred this 6" "collectible" as it was better made. I was concerned that if it was a collectible, she wouldn't play with it, however, my concerns were ill founded. It is very much played with and being enjoyed by both our granddaughter and her brother.

As an avid Star Wars collector this is a great addition to my collection. I was lucky to find this figure for such a good price. Already seems to be a collectors item.
