Works Perfectly With PS5 DualSense - Allows Passive Charge + Keeps Dualsense Charged When in Use
I thought I'd write a quick review for this product as there isn't one right now and there are similar battery packs available with 100s of reviews that aren't as good as this one.Firstly, an important tip with this product and a minor niggle - to turn it on and off there's a very long button push required - the power button on the top needs to be held in for 10 seconds for either switching on or off - this is a minor inconvenience, but be aware this is a long (long) press to power on or off.Its design is also better than other more popular versions for 2 reasons:Its slimmer and sits more flush with the back of the PS5 controller, and for me it doesn't get in the way of my hands when in use. It hasn't added any noticeable difference in weight or affected the DualSense's function. Its charging indicator LEDs are positioned on the front, so you can actually see them when the controller is in your hands (how you'd normally play games) - the other battery packs have the lights on their top or back (depending how you look at it), so when they are plugged into the controller, you have to turn the controller over or tilt it a ridiculous amount to see how much charge you have left.Another major point, and something I noticed in other reviews for (IMO) inferior battery packs - some users had issues with the PS5 not showing the battery level for the DualSense and actually getting an error with a question mark appearing for the battery level. I can confirm that this version does not have that issue - with it connected to the DualSense, it shows the correct number of bars and when the controller is at zero, if the battery pack is attached it will show the green charging symbol correctly. The battery capacity is 2000mAh - most of the other versions on Amazon are only 1500mAh - so you're getting an extra few hours of gameplay with this battery pack.Time to fully charge the battery pack from nothing is probably close to 2-3 hours - I didn't time it exactly, but it will take about that long for all the LEDs on the front to become solid and stop flashing. Once charged I leave it attached to the controller and only turn it on when the DualSense battery is low - as far as I can tell, leaving the external battery pack on does drain its own battery over time, so only turn it on when you need it.You can also leave this connected to the DualSense all the time as it will charge itself and the controller at the same time when you plug it into a USB C charger. I've not had to remove it since I got it, I just make sure to turn it off when not in use (10 second long press on power button).Overall, highly recommended and has added many more hours of gameplay to my PS5 experience!

Stopped charging my controller after a hand full of uses
It is also very loose, not comfortable and you can feel the weight of it. Terrible design. Getting a refund is a hassle. They want you to pay for the delivery to send the item back

Not bad
The battery lasts for 2-3 hours and allows you to recharge the ps5 joypad to the maximum. Then it must be recharged for at least 4 hours. You can find better.
