Swapped out the original ear pads from my razer blackshark v2 pro headphones with these mainly due to the original pads getting compressed and the plastic ring that holds them in place having several of the plastic tabs break off.These ear pads are easily twice as thick as the original ones, so they block out sound noticeable better. The cooling gel does actually make a difference, I wear my headset for work/play easily 8+ hours a day and these pads don't build up heat as much as the previous ones. If heat buildup/sweaty ears are your main concern, make sure you get the ones with the cloth pads over the faux leather, they are much more breathable and also hold up better overall IMO.I've machine washed these probably half a dozen times since I've had them, and they've held up fine. The plastic ring with plastic tabs that hold the earpad in place and then "click" into the headphones have also yet to have any of those tabs break off, unlike the original ring which had a tab break almost every time I removed/reattached the ring.

These replacement ear pads are wonderful. So very comfortable. Value, quality and most of all so very comfortable. Wow! Wish all headsets had such ear pads.

i was very hessitant in getting these because i thought they might feel the same as the ones it came with but i was proven wrong, they were very easy to install just had to pry them with a hook tool and these just clipped right in. the difference is very noticeable these are much comfier for longer gaming sessions and they do not heat up like the cloth ones that the headphones came with. i would certainly buy them again in a heart beat.

I didn't hate the stock ear pads that come with the Blackshark V2, but they were a bit shallow for my comfort. These fix that by adding depth, but they're also remarkably more comfortable and feel cool around my ears where the gel pads rest. Before I was fine wearing them, now they're so comfortable I keep putting them on just to enjoy how they feel.As for how they impact the audio... I have a hard time putting it into words. I wasn't remotely impressed with the Blackshark V2's sound to start with, I found them to be bright with very poor bass reproduction. These very slightly exacerbate the bass issues and don't seem to impact the over represented top end. In my mind, these were never great sounding headphones I'd want to use for listening to music in the first place, and these make a reasonable work headset much more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. So it's a very good trade off for me.I'd say that if you plan to be using the Razer Blackshark V2s for an extended period of time these improved earpads are an absolute must.

Installation: They came with zero instruction so my old ear cups are trashed and cannot be put back on (I looked up a video of how to put them on but the videos only started with the old ones off). Once the olds ones are off, the new ones just snap in really easily.Cooling: They're only cool for so long. First putting them on and they're awesome, but extended use warms them up just like a normal set of earcups.Comfort: They are way better than the stock earcups but they're not magic. As long as you don't go in thinking you'll never have issues again, you'll enjoy what you got.

Exactly what it says it is. Easy fit, took 5 minutes to pop out the old ones and replace with the new ones. Glad i didn't have to spend money on a new headset and could just replacement parts. Feels like higher quality than the oem ones.
