Decent product. UI good use improvement. Connecting to PC is a bit of a headache. You need one of two connectors/dongles.

Much easier just to get the Elite if you plan on using this for shooting. Thought I'd just get for weather, but it works great when you have the Elite ballistic.

The meter appears lightly used, the screen plastic film seems like it had been peeled off before. Temps and humidity are accurate enough. Pressure sensor is spot on. One thing to be aware of is that when you're using the unit in violent storms, water will seep in the humidity sensor and display 100%RH until it completely dries out. Overall sastisfied purchase.

The Kestrel 5000 is a great wind meter for the long distance shooter. I bought one of these to help me with long range PRS style matches. Not only has it been helpful for the wind speed readings, and learning to guess wind speeds, but the Density Altitude function is what I chose it for. Several of the Kestrel models allow you to look up and enter environmental settings such as temperature, barometer, humidity, etc. What Density Altitude does is take all of those factors and give you one equivalent altitude. I made drop cards for various Density Altitudes and I just get one reading and use that for my matches. I am able to get my firing information much quicker than the guys that are still trying to look up the various numbers and inputting them into a ballistic program.
