It has a minutes timer and depends on how many minutes you've set it as every other toaster I've had.

Is there dust cover included? I cannot find in the box

I never knew that dust covers came with low price toasters. So, no, I never expected one.

It smells so bad (burnt plastic smell), how do you get rid of it ?

Just push button down with no toast in it and leave it to spring back up it will smell while doing this but when you then do your next round of toast it should be ok
