The media could not be loaded. My new fave hot beverage during cold!!!I used to go to Asian grocery and bought the Chinese brand Ginger Drink when I have a cold. But now my NEW FAVE is from Thailand. It was my first to try HOTTA, and definitely will stock it during cold and flu.The taste of ginger is quiet strong (definitely, it contains more than 50% combination of Ginger and honey), giving that needed stuffed nose relieve.The sweetness is mediocre i think its just honey sweet.Definitely buying it again once this one is gone later.

I love LOVE ginger, and have been buying products of this ilk for several years. It simply isn't the same as using ginger tea bags where the ginger never seems to come through. ALSO this is an INSTANT drink. I dont want to mess with tea bags and jars of honey all the time. This is easy, convenient, tasty, and can use it anywhere, anytime.This HOTTA Instant Ginger with Honey has a robust ginger flavor, and that is exactly what I want. This has some added honey and sugar, and the instant dissolving makes it super easy to use, and versatile. I can drink it alone, or add some matcha, or add it to other tea (especially CHAI), or any other drink (including club soda). Anything I want some honey and ginger in. This is one of those drinks that I definitely plan to keep on-hand for when sickness strikes. It is very comforting, especially on cold days where I have congestion or a sore throat. I personally love a strong ginger flavor, and this drink has just that. It also has a bit of honey, which is very comforting and soothing on a sore throat.The directions are easy to follow, and I had a warm, soothing beverage in no time. Some might think that the price is a bit high; however, when I am really sick and need a relief from coughing, congestion, and a sore throat, this is a low price. I recommend giving it a try, and like I said, I plan to keep this on-hand for when the need really strikes!

I love drinking hot ginger tea with honey during the cold months. It helps relieve my sinus congestion. Therefore, I was excited for the opportunity to review the HOTTA Instant Ginger Tea. Simply put, it is the best hot ginger tea I have ever drunk. It slightly burns my throat as I sip on it; this hot liquid helps relieve my nasal congestion. The late October weather has turned chilly here in Maryville, Tennessee and heavy rains are in the forecast for the next few days; time to drink hot tea. This ginger tea is instant tea that comes in a powder. The powder is easily dissolved in hot liquid.This ginger tea already contains honey but I also like to add some of my own along with some lemon juice. The notched packets (sachets) are easy to open. There are a total of ten packets inside an easy-to-open cardboard box that is resealable. Also inside the box is a brochure describing the various types of ginger tea that HOTTA sells. I was very impressed. On the back of the box are illustrations for the many health benefits of drinking ginger tea. I didn't know that drinking ginger tea relieves flatulence, reduces jet-lag, relieves migraines, relieves stress, and helps you to sleep well.The ginger tea smells and tastes fresh. This is evidenced by the manufacturing and expiration dates that are clearly printed on the right-hand side of the box. The manufacturing and expiration dates are 11 08 2021 and 11 08 2023, respectively. These are most excellent dates. Also the price ($8.99 at the time of this review) is very reasonable. Without looking at the price, I guessed $10.00. That is $1.00 per packet of instant ginger tea. If you crave hot ginger tea with honey, then I highly recommend that you purchase the HOTTA Instant Ginger Tea. There are only 50 calories per serving; therefore, you don't have to worry about it making you fat.

There are 50 calories in a packet of ginger and honey--to be mixed in 5 ounces of hot water. First sip seems overly sweet, but then the ginger kicks in and the balance of spicy hot and sweet is very comforting. I've tried some ginger tea bags in the past and no way can the flavor compare with the spicy heat of this powdered mix.I'd been eyeing this box on the counter for a few weeks, wanting to try it. But decided to hold off until my tummy was upset and really needing it. I've tried a few packets now and find I really look forward to it! Really settles my stomach--quickly, too.Now, if someone points me in the right direction to a very potent ginger tea in tea bags, I'd use it because I'd like to add my own honey, and my rating on this would go down accordingly. But this is the strongest, spiciest ginger flavor that I've found.And here's something probably not intended by HOTTA: This mix makes a fine base for a hot toddy, just add your favorite, quality, sipping, adult beverage. Maybe a little butter to round it out or one of those little used liqueurs that have been sitting in your liquor cabinet for a long while.
