Amazing, easy to install on our pontoon
We looked for steps for our pontoon for awhile and these were the perfect fit. Easy to install, great quality and functional. They fold up and when you want to use they are easy to unclip and fold down. Steps are long enough to get into the water from the boat deck and are rigid and do not float under the boat when extended like some steps we have used. You will not be disappointed!

Wow. Great piece
Purchased not knowing especially having read others bad comments. Of course this does not come with fastener hardware. Manufacturer does not know if you are fastening to concrete, metal, wood or fiberglass. Me? A wood swimming float so i need to buy bolts and washers for wood. Not a problem cause i don't have left over hardware that i cant use and i am not charged extra for. Smart move. Unit is substantial. Heavy duty. Should keep together for years under My 250 pound fat frame and wear and tear from me and my grandkids when we play king of the raft. I have always won against those little 60 pounders. A rugged choice that will lovingly replace the 25 year old aluminum and plastic pool ladder that constantly makes noise from the waves. No more creaking and plastic hitting aluminum tube noises. Yay!!! And we really like that it folds up for winter storage on the float. No more disconnecting and trying to figure where to store it. Is a little heavy tho but with a rope you can lift it fine. Glad we bought this gem. Cannonballs here we come.

Nice and sturdy for the price
Very nice ladder! I was alittle surprised at how good and sturdy it looked out of the box. Installation was really simple. There was no instructions but there just a few bolts. It did not come with hardware to mount it. I purchased 1/4 x 2” stainless bolts and washers and lock nuts from Lowe’s. Installation took me about 30 minutes. Looks way nicer than what I had before and this one extends down an extra step which is really nice

Rugged Stainless Steel Ladder
We installed this at the beginning of summer on a floating dock. We forget to pull it in, so the rungs have been under fresh water most of the summer. We've had no issues at all - it's not corroding, and it works really well. Someone mentioned that the part that screws in is not flat. We found that, as well. (Must be something to do with installing on a pontoon?) But we just put a shim under the area that doesn't sit flat and problem easily solved. I don't believe it came with screws. I tried stainless steel screws we had lying around, but the head wasn't big enough and eventually popped through the holes. Now we have screws with larger heads and problem solved. It's a quality product. Nice, solid, and sturdy.

Great welds and super nice polish
Nice and wide. I have not even installed it yet but the build quality is great. I really like the clean welds and how it was polished. It is decent thickness of SS and does not feel cheap. I'' be installing it this spring on my super awesome '66 Marinette with a pair of 351 WIndsors. I may swap out the plastic steps with Teakwood. Once I install it I will update the review with pictures... well maybe after summer because I'll be boating and not caring about anything other than every spare moment at my boat! I just bought another bigger boat and another set of these for it. I have had many othe boat owners ask about them and they like them too. Now the bad (which is not so bad) the plastic clip that keeps the ladder out of the water broke on my first set. It could use a better out of the water clip but a bugee cord gets the job.

Seems nice, easy to install, overall positive, a few weaknesses???
I purchased this for use as a DOCK ladder, to be installed on my dock versus on a boat. I was looking for a fairly small footprint, stainless steel ladder that could be raised out of the water when not being used, so that it doesn't get slippery/algae growth. This ladder fit that bill very nicely. Assembly was a piece of cake as it was to install. I like the combination of the telescoping aspect with the hinged access, giving it a lower profile, less noticeable appearance when in the up position (many hinged dock ladders end up being unsightly large as they either just hinge and stick way up in the air or hinge and lay 4 feet+ across the dock. There are three weak points to this ladder's build (in my case, these are not a very big deal): #1: while the installed bungy is supposed to help lift the ladder up "on your way up", that's not quite how it works. It really still requires one to get out, turn around and lean over to hinge the ladder up. #2: States extra wide steps - if these are extra wide, I'd hate to see the narrow or normal width ladder. This ladder is too narrow for anybody who is over weight - not that it won't hold a couple hundred pounds, but it is just quite narrow. This really isn't a factor for me/my family. #3: As other reviewers have noted, the bolt-thru plates welded onto the ladder for fastening are no where close to being flat when set on a flat surface. While this wasn't a problem for me as I was mounting it to a wooden dock and was able to reinforce the mounting point from the underside to force two of the mounting plates flat to the wood, if installing this on a aluminum or fiberglass boat surface, this necessary reinforcing is not likely to be available to you. If you fall into this category, I suspect you may need to return the ladder if your mounting plates arrive in the un-flat manner mine (and other people's) did. All that said, the ladder worked/works well for me. The hand holds are nice and make getting all the way out of the water much easier than ladders without them. The "pull-up" bungie is a nice idea, but just doesn't seem to be implemented that well (I tried repositioning it to different positions, but overall it's still the same result, getting out then turning around and bending over to lift the ladder). I bought this ladder in 2019, installed within a few days. The build appearance looks good. The quality control is definitely Chinese - meaning mostly correct, but not fully correct, and had errors that any simple/basic quality control system would have caught before shipping.

Well-built
It’s well built the function on it is really good easy to get out of water. My only complaint would be that there’s absolutely no instructions on it, which wasn’t a problem for me, but a lot of people could face a slight challenge

Ladder didn’t work for the location I wanted to install it on my boat. Leo and the company were excellent to work with and issued full refund. Thanks Leo

besides the screws provided, this is a great value for an above ground pool deck. seem sturdy even with a grown adult, fold up is nice for the solar blanket as well.
