The perfect size for my needs. I haven’t used it yet but the four sides do not have any flex. The rubber bumper on the base is easy to take off and goes back on fairly easily. I find handwashing many of my cooking utensils extends the life of them. I assume the 4 surfaces are sharp enough and will update review if they don’t meet my expectations. Good value. Update: Works very well. The only thing I don’t like is there is a slight curvature to the sides horizontally that makes grating less efficient than a flat surface would produce. I assume that design aspect was necessary to accommodate the removal and replacement of the rubber base. I would still recommend since overall it is a sturdy and produces good results.

This is a really solid grater and very useful for grating cheeses, and/or slicing vegetables. It is sturdy when standing with the rubber edging on the base, and the handle is also comfortable to hold.

I hated our cheap box grater because it was uncomfortable to hold, easily slipped on the cutting board, and was pretty dull, so I ended up with as much crumbled chunks of cheese as grated cheese. Finally went looking for a better one.This one is nearly perfect, and I no longer dread dislike grating anything. The slicer and grates are sharp, the handle is very comfortable to hold, and the non-slip base works as it should.The one design flaw I've found is that when it's washed, water gets caught in the base. This means that when you turn it sideways, water trickles out. If it's tilted over the floor, it's necessary to wipe up the water, so I've learned to tilt it over the sink before moving it to the kitchen island where I grate things. Seems like it wouldn't have been difficult to seal that gasket to the metal.

This grater is super sharp and nice and sturdy. The rubber part along the bottom is removable for easy cleaning.It's a bit larger than I'd expected which is nice for grating, however it does require quite a bit of caninet space for storage.

Bought this as a gift for my wife. It was sort of a joke, but it wasn't really funny until she opened it and I realized it was about 2x the size of her previous shredder.Anyways, this thing shreds. All the settings work great, and the size allows for a good grip and large shredding area. The rubber part provides a pretty good non-slip base, and can be removed for the dishwasher.

Doesn’t move while grating. Like the grate options too. Cleans nicely.

Item arrived in bubble wrap.. no box. With an item that is made of thin metal why would this be the normal packaging?As a result it was warped, which made it unstable. The rubber footing around the bottom was also damaged and due to the warping would not fit the item properly, leading it to shift while in use. Handle also pops off easily.Looks like it would be a decent product if it was actually packaged properly. Not worth £17.Refund requested

Love that this grater comes with a little nifty little plastic contiainer that slips right inside.. makes it easy to grate up some carrots, store the carrots and use for later... and when not in use and keep it all together in one unit... awesome
