Presentation of material is not very appealing to younger audience

Great for working independently! Walks you through concepts in High School Algebra, but does not go too in depth. Builds great comprehension for math, and reviews concepts from Pre - Algebra as well. Felt very prepared taking Algebra 1.

Great book and so helpful for high school algebra

I got this for my son to use this summer as a refresher to make sure he's ready for high school. Due to COVID and a lackluster math teacher, I didn't feel he mastered the Algebra 1 material. He used this book to go back through all of the concepts and refresh his knowledge. It's well laid out and has just the right amount of information on each concept. It takes you through each concept, but doesn't go super deep. After going through the entire book, I feel that he now has a good grasp on all of the material and is ready for the next class.

Nice book, well written, and was new or almost new when received. Got it for my grandson, now if I could just get him to read it.
