VERY STIFF - GREAT FOR HOLSTER - BUT NOT AS A CARRY ALL POUCH
This case/holster is exactly as the dimensions say. It is VERY stiff, and it will expand the thickness to about 1 inch if stuffed (The material that comprises the "thickness" part of the case is a bit elastic - and will stretch from about 3/4 inch to around 1 1/4 inches). The stiff edging takes up about 1/4 inch all the way around the height and width. The inner dimensions when stuffed, is 3.25 inch high, 5.25 inch wide, and about 1inch thick. There are NO belt loops, only a metal belt clip in the back center, and you can fiddle around with it to remove it (it is slid onto a vertical "belt" loop and can be removed). This mounting system, along with the stiffness of the stiff edging, means it will NOT easily conform to the curve of the belt around your waist. I guess that's good for a holster, but it WILL stick out a bit. I am NOT using it as a holster, but rather to hold some odds and ends that make my pockets too bulky (Cough drops, pill cases, antacids, etc.) and I think I will sew in 2 belt loops near the edges to keep it more stable and closer to the contour along my belt. It is definitely very well made. The flap is held closed with a strong strip of velcro, so if you are using it as a holster, forget about a "silent" draw. I am giving this 5 stars, as it is very functional as a holster, just not a carry-all.

Not exactly right for my pistol
Ordered this primarily because of the low price, and to compare with a similar product from Bulldog. Bulldog is the original factory concealed carry (pda style) holster for the Taurus PT 738 .380 compact pistol. After trying out the Uncle Mike's version, I'll stick with the Bulldog. The Uncle Mike's is pretty well made, but it's dimensionally incorrect for the Taurus PT 738. It's long enough, but from top to bottom, it doesn't close well, and it doesn't completely conceal the firearm. There is a notable lack of the access holes on the bottom which the Bulldog has (facilitates removal by allowing you to push the firearm upwards from the holster from the bottom). Also, the Velcro which secures the flap is quite noisy when you open the holster, versus the quiet magnetic snaps on the Bulldog. For my money, the Bulldog is a much better buy for the Taurus PT 738. I'll keep the Uncle Mike's, and use it for something, but probably not for concealed carry of a firearm.UPDATE: Found a use. Fits my Garmin GPS perfectly!!!!!

Well constructed.
Sturdy case, and works as expected. It's just a little small. It will only accommodate the tiniest of pistols. Even tight for a Ruger LCP.

Ruger LCP is a perfect fit
As someone else has noted the original pattern Ruger LCP easily fits this holster. Since I'm an OFWG (old fat white guy) I my body shape works best with an LCP and an outside-the-pants holster. I thought about a Sneaky Pete style holster but felt that it too readily said "gun". This little black fabric holster simply doesn't look at all like it contains a gun. This PDA style holster is not only unobtrusive, the black fabric says "PDA" and not "gun". The holster flap is held in place with a strong velcro strip. Initially, I found this to be troublesome, but found that with a little tweaking you'll a have holster that provides instant access. Here's what you can do:Initially, I'd decided that since the holster flap easily held its shape, I would simply cover the velcro with duct tape. Further examination with the LCP placed inside the holster showed that the holster flap only engaged about 1/3 of the velcro material. This allows me to have easy one hand access to my handgun. Either of these tweaks will give you easy access to you gun when you need it.The final tweak involves actually fitting the holster to your gun-belt. After several tries, i found the holster's spring clip to be annoyingly stiff. it is much easier to simply remove your belt from a couple of loops and thread it through the spring clip. Doing this allows you to easily position the holster exactly where you want it to sit.Since my usual attire is a pocket-tee and a blue denim work-shirt this handy little holster is almost invisible yet, with these minor tweaks, it still provides me with the kind of instant access to my little LCP I'll need in an emergency. Highly recommended.

Only use this product for anything but a pistol.
The only pistol that I could get to fit in the pouch and be discreet with was a Raven 25. With my Ruger LCP there was no way to hide the fact that I was carrying a gun. The rear sites rise up above the elastic panel and are in plain sight if somebody decides to look at the pouch. Also with the Ruger installed the flap was harder to close and would not close squarely. And don’t think you’re going to get the gun out quickly the pouch is very snug. I would only use this for cell phones or other personal items.

Great Pouch!
This is a great pouch for putting a small hand gun in or even a larger smart phone. It is well constructed and wears comfortably. I am carrying a Frontier model Derringer (.22 lr) in it. The derringer is a heavy weight made circa 1964. It was difficult for me to find a way to carry this little pistol. The pouch is the answer. This pouch will only handle very small handguns. It will not handle my Beretta Nano, but I didn't get it for that.

Very "meh", typical Uncle Mike's
To me, Uncle Mike's has always been the Daihatsu of the tactical gear world. Yeah, it might get you there, but not in style and it won't last. This doesn't disappoint. The quality is fine, but my Kahr P380 doesn't fit in this. My Keltec P3AT does, but as another reviewer already stated, the velcro is LOUD, so you're not going to be secretive at all. You're better off putting the weapon upside facing to the rear, and tilting it back and up/out rather than using it as pictured. For the price of a couple-three gallons of gas, it's good for an emergency holster, but do yourself a favor and get the Bulldog case instead. Magnet holder, smooth vinyl construction, and it's larger to accomodate more weapons.
