Great clippers for the money. They are not heavy but are still well made. They only make a low buzzing sound and very little vibration making them great for nervous dogs. I was in two minds about getting recharable as I have 3 Yorkies and thought it might not last on one charge, however, I actually did the 3 on the charge that was already in them! I also started my daughter's Yorkie but I could hear they were getting slower so used it plugged in. By the end of the session the light was showing green for fully charged. They are nice to handle and easy to switch on and off. The blade is easy to pop on and off for cleaning, although it does take a few attempts to get the knack of it, especially as the instructions are very basic. It comes with a good selection of comb attachments which are easy to get on, although these too need a bit of practice to get off. You have to slide them up past the blade. For the money I paid I was pleasantly surprised at the accessories included. A good quality pair of scissors, blending scissors and nail clippers, a large metal comb and a nail file. It also includes a cleaning brush and small bottle of oil. What I was disappointed with is that there is no blade protector and, due to the shape of the head, the one from my old clippers will not fit. It would also be nice if there was a storage case or bag, but you only have the box. One negative aspect is the lifetime guarantee. You have a poster in the box with your personal registration number. you are told to go to the website and register otherwise the guarantee is invalid. The registration was easy and it states an email will be sent to you and you must confirm it. I registered it 4 times but still have not had an email. Also, the only product showing on the website is a training collar, no sign of the clippers?? I intend to send them an email. This problem of course has no bearing on the fact that these are great clippers for the money. I am happy with them and they appear to be well made, but of course only time will tell if they are brilliant clippers and how long they will last. I would certainly recommend these to experienced or inexperienced people who just want to groom their own dog.

Brilliant for clipping my dogs fur. Lots of attachments so presumably can do lots of different grade clippings, however, my grooming skills (and needs) are just bottom hygiene clips and trimming around the face. I’m sure someone with better skill and determination than me would find all the attachments super handy! The scissors are great for clipping around the face. Comes with a comb which is handy. Feel durable and easy to use. Looks smart. Absolute bargain I feel. Only reason I haven’t given a 5 star is they are quite noisy. My dog doesn’t mind this but probably not ideal for cats or dogs that are suspicious of loud noises.

Poor C* I think the song goes - The first cut is the deepest, but his first cut was the worst and I don't think I'll be improving anytime soon. Paws were ok but my goodness his body looked like he had a disease with inconsistent lengths poor ting! Did treat him to the groomers afterwards but the actual clippers are fine just not my handiwork!

Very easy to use and good price

So happy with this purchase, saved myself a fortune on dog grooming. Comes with all the accessories you need. My dog is a Poochon (poodle X bichon frise) so his fur grows fast and needs regular grooming. Used the scissors to trim the face, and the longest guard for the body, thankfully did an okay job on my first try (I'm no pro at all, so was nervous he'd come out looking like a gremlin ha) Clippers are fairly quiet my dog was fine with them, the nail trimmers worked really well, (don't forget to file the sharp edges after) all in all took me about 40 mins to fully groom him, but it was my first try and I took my time, familiarising myself with the different accessories. Very happy I took the plunge and decided to groom him myself!

I bought these as a good proportion of reviews indicated that it was quiet, it even states on the box that it is 'whisper quiet' which is exactly what I needed as my dog enters attack mode even at the sound of an electric toothbrush. Sadly the clippers are not that quiet and nowhere near the 'whisper quiet' claimed by the manufacturer, the noise level are similar to that of clippers used in barbers, fortunately I had taken the mutt out for a long, long walk prior to the trim so she was too knackered to put up any type of resistance. I have a Border Terier who's coat is pretty dense and thick but the clippers eased through it without catching or leaving an uneven cut which was impressive. The clippers are very easy to use and come with quiet a few accompaniments which you may or may not use depending on your skill levels and dogs tolerance. All in all they are value for money and do a good job my only caveat being the noise level, if your dog is particularly sensitive then you may want to look elsewhere.

Great piece of kit. Great price. I just groomed my Malshi and I’m very impressed never groomed before but really easy too use and the scissors are great too. Easy to use. Not to noisey.
