Nice lights.
Nice lights. All were functional upon delivery. Pretty straight forward operation. VERY large rubber coated on/off/auto 3 way toggle switch. If mounted where you can reach it this large switch is very functional. As another mentioned; they are larger than I thought, but that is ok. The solar panel is about the size of an ipad. The power cord disconnects from the light unit to aid in mounting and routing the cord. (Another nice feature.)There must have been a Black Friday sale on these; I purchased two sets (four total lights) @ $40.00 each ($80.00 total). I see they are now $100.00 plus. We'll see how they stand up to Iowa weather! While well made and sturdy; I am sure I would have passed at the 100 dollar price.BUT; if you have no other option (power available) these are nice. The light won't light up a whole yard except in pitch blackness, but for door entry lighting sized area these will work just fine.I intend on using one in my three season porch entry with the solar panel routed through a screen molding. One I intended for use with my motor home camping. While too large to permanently mount; I'm thinking pole mounted now for that application.

Maybe these instructions can help?
The hardest part of this installation to me were the tiny screws that you have to get through the sides of the solar light, and then you have to attach the bracket to them and then screw on the knobs. I searched for good advice, but couldn't find any.I thought I'd share what I finally came up with, and it made installation easy.1. Put the tiny screws through the holes on either side of the solar light where you will be attaching the metal bracket, and cover the back with a small strip of Gorilla tape. (maybe duct tape would work also, but Gorilla tape really did a great job)2. Slightly spread the bracket out a bit, so that you're not up on a ladder trying to stretch it out and over the screws.3. All had to when I was up on the ladder was install the metal bracket (separately!), and then place the solar light inside the bracket (which was already stretched out a little)4. Push the hole on one side of the bracket over the screw that's already attached and protruding out on the solar light, and tighten it down with one of the knobs. The bracket closes in nice and tight again once you've put on both knobs. You can even easily slide your finger behind the tape to apply pressure as you screw down the knob.Done! Except for plugging in the solar panel, which was easily installed. I hope this makes sense and may help someone, because if you're like me and you don't have great balance on a ladder (I'm a 65 year old woman), then it's always good to get as much done on the ground as possible. The light seems to work well, but I gave it 4 stars due to the lack of good instructions and the brain power I had to use!
