Heat, but not volcanic
Fantastic product that adds soooo much flavour to dishes that are usually ladden with chilli flakes to the point that the heat takes any sense of flavour out of the enjoyment. This has that heat kick but without the scorching of the taste buds and allows you to pick up the rest of the flavours in the dish. More of a roasted pepper than a chilli pepper and its all the better for it. I used this for a Korean beef dish and family and friends all commented how much better it was to actually taste a spicy dish than to reach for milk etc to cool things down while eating.

Versatile chilli flakes
I like to use authentic ingredients especially when cooking exotic dishes. These chilli flakes were used to bring the heat to my very first batch of kimchi and they have worked a treat. Of course they are hot although not the very hottest of chillies which is why they are so versatile.

.... wheres the spice?
Either I've become accustomed to super spicy kimchi or these chillis really aren't spicy at all. They do have a really nice flavour though so we've been shaking them over everything like a table condiment. But if you're after heat maybe try the paste.
