I was shopping for a steel wire for my old Marcy stack home gym machine because one of the steel wires was broken. Many online stores provided quotes with more than $60-80 for a simple wire. I was so desperate and even was thinking of buying a crimping tool to make my own wire. I was lucky to find J Bryant Fitness on Amazon. Its interface online is so simple, and I was able to customize the cable length and the connector. The company even sent me an email to confirm the length and shipping date. I got it way before the original promised delivery date. The quality of the steel wire is absolutely EXCELLENT! The connector is professionally crimped on the steel wire. I started out adding cable/pulleys to my squat rack.Most of the items were purchased at the local hardware store, including wire cables.I had to replace my cables every three months (before they broke).One day Amazon had J Bryant cables as a lead item on my home page.I ordered my first set about a year ago (3 cables and 1 pulley).Immediately I could tell that these cables and pulley were the "real deal"!Since then I have purchased three custom length cables and two additional pulleys.The J Bryant aren't "like" the professional equipment ... they "are" the professional equipment!

I ordered a custom sized cable and I really liked that the seller contacted me to be sure the cable was the size I really wanted and then mentioned that shipping would take a while and that I was OK with that. I was fine with the wait but the cable arrived much faster than quoted and was exactly to the size I wanted and very well constructed. I highly recommend this seller.

Seller was very helpful in making sure my three cable measurements were accurate, (measure twice, cut once) and the three cables were cut perfectly for my Weider Club 4870 Work-Out Center. If I could give them six stars, I would. These cables are more flexible than the ones I'm replacing and there is less friction when using the workout center.I knew I was going to have to trim one of the stopper balls as my workout center's stopper balls were smaller than what seller, or any other cable company I looked into had to offer. I got to see how sturdy these stopper balls were and I'm very happy with their product.I'm debating on whether or not to order again, as these prices were far better than the workout center's official replacements cost, my concern is if the second set will oxidize while sitting in storage.

I was using a climbing rope in my home made gym cable pull system. It was noisy, added a lot of friction and stretched.This new ball end cable was a perfect solution for my set up. Installed in minutes, I can pull weights far more easily and the system is now super quiet.Previously, the rope pull was annoyingly loud - this coated cable eliminates 90% of that noise. I bought two of these with two new pulleys. They replace a pulley that was at least 35 years old and I was using clothesline rope around it.. hahahah.. hey, it worked.. But this new thing is so smooth and well worth it. You will have a hard time cutting the extra cable off if you do not need the full length. I used a dremel with a cut off saw blade..

I've bought 2 cables from these guys...each time they email to confirm the customer measurement is what they really want. And both cables came a week or 2 early and fit perfectly.Just make sure you measure accurately...I took a string and measured out the path AND measured the old cable being replaced...to make sure. And their cable fits more securely than one that came from the original vendor. I've used both cables for a month now and no stretch or give at all.

The cable on my York weight bench started to fray. I could not find a replacement until I found this. This has given my weight bench a new lease of life.

Was our own fault, ordered wrong size...

I've got an older Weider weight machine that finally snapped one of the main cables. I could not find a replacement anywhere in town. One outfit that fixes machines for local gyms said they could come to my house and fix it for around 240.00. I thought I was going to have to trash my machine ( that was working well until the cable break). This Bryant cable was the solution to the problem. It took about 45 minutes to rig it up and secure the cable. Now the machine is working again. I had about 2 ' of excess cable that I coiled up at the rear of the machine. Bryant Fitness saved my machine and will give it another 20 years of life. Thanks Bryant.

We replaced the rope on our ceiling mounted pulley with this. I had concerns of the rope wearing out and failing with the weights on it. No worries now!
