I have one in every vehicle in my family. Wife and Daughters all know how to use it, and find it easy, have even helped friends. Charge it every 6-12 months to make sure it is fresh. Let it stay connected for 2-10 minutes if battery is very dead. They all appreciate having it. The optional case is nice also, and worth the extra $. This is not the cheapest, but worth it. I have even used to on my EzGo Golf cart when stranded, it replaced the battery temporarily while driving all the way back home. There is only one other brand I would buy other than this one. Make sure you buy one size up from what they say you need, just in case.

With the built in intelligence this is easy to use and fool proof. I've used these now three times to help out other drivers in the parking lot when their batteries have died. No more jumper cables, no more possibility of crossing wires and causing a spark shower. You connect, see the green ready, and start the car. They hold their charge, and we "top off" once a year to get from 90% back up to 100%. I now have one for each car.

A couple Christmases ago, I got this for my son-in-law. He has a huge Dodge ram truck and I figured this would be enough Power if he ever needed it to start his battery. Ironically, I’ve been the one using it over the past two years because I have a vehicle we barely drive and occasionally the battery goes dead. It’s been perfect and it starts the vehicle very easily without a hassle. I decided I needed to get my own so I ordered a red one and it came very well packaged. I also ordered a case which is really a necessity to keep in your vehicle, although I must admit the box it came in Could also do the job temporarily. I can assure you this is very good quality and even though there are other brands out there may be equally as good, I am very happy with this particular model. It’s worth every penny. Keep your eye on the price because it fluctuates a little bit from time to time.

Just works. I particularly keep it readily available around the cold months. When I’ve needed it, it worked and worked well. Between storing for months, and jumping say 5 times, still maintains adequate charge for emergencies - I just like to stay on top of keeping it charged.

The starter gets five stars. I’ve taken a star off for two reasons. First, the instructions could be more clear. There are both a USB and USC inlet but nothing explains their purpose or capabilities. Second, it comes with a double ended USC charging cord but no cube to plug it into a wall outlet. What I ended up purchasing is a USC cube for my car’s 12v (cigarette) outlet which allows me to recharge the jumper immediately after use. Otherwise, it works perfectly and I’d buy it again if I needed another.

Well built, holds a charge and performs exceptionally well... Bought one over a year ago... Charged it up and put it in my car... Sat there in the Atlanta summer heat and cold... Neighbor's car needed a jump... Pulled it out and charge showed 98%... Jump started his suburban from a dead state and battery was still at 87%...

I have only had two chances to use it, but it worked really well starting my friend’s diesel van engine with a completely dead battery. We had to start it a second time later in the day and the Hulkman only went down to 77%.

Be sure to: • pick a model large enough for your vehicles. • know how to use Boost Start mode. • read the usage instructions carefully, and compare them to the simplified version on the device.
