The set comes neatly organized in a sturdy carrying case, with adapters for a wide variety of vehicles—both domestic and import. Everything was labeled well, making it easy to find the right piece for my car’s calipers. The build quality is solid. The threaded spindles turn smoothly, and the plates feel heavy-duty, not like some of the cheaper kits out there. I especially like that it includes both right-hand and left-hand threaded tools, which saves a ton of hassle depending on the caliper type. This kit really makes compressing and resetting caliper pistons much easier, compared to fighting with C-clamps or makeshift tools. It turned what could’ve been a frustrating brake job into a quick, straightforward process. If you do your own brake maintenance—or even if you’re a weekend mechanic who likes having the right tools on hand—this is an excellent investment. The set arrived and seems very comprehensive with a multitude of adapter plates to fit a variety of vehicles. Will it fit everything out there - probably not. But as the description itself even says, there is a good chance you'll find an adapter for most American, Japanese or European models. While Mazda wasn't explicitly listed anywhere in the manual, a quick review of the adapter plates identified a match for the calipers I was working with. Usage instructions are a bit vague. Video from the product page was quite a bit more helpful in assembling/using this tool than the paper manual that was included. Not saying the manual wasn't entirely accurate, but it left a bit to the imagination on a couple of the steps. Once you know how it all goes together and works, the tool itself is quite helpful and easy to use. One complaint would be the relatively thin T-handle used to twist the caliper piston back into place. Due to the size and material, this handle can easily bend if you need to put a lot of torque into moving the piston. Would be nicer to have a beefier handle that could hold up better. Plastic case is also on the thin side with a "cheap" feel to it. Just based on feel, it doesn't seem as though it will last terribly long if this is a tool that gets frequent use. For rare to occasional use, it will probably be fine. It is rather nice that there is a labeled place for everything to fit. If the case holds up, it will be great from an organizational standpoint. Overall, the tool worked well, and is likely something I won't use often, but will be nice to have if/when I do. For the price, it saves a lot of aggravation trying to make another tool work with some of these caliper designs the require the piston to be twisted rather than just compressed.

I just received my ORION Motor Tech 24-piece set today and put it to work right away. I’m honestly surprised by the quality—everything feels solid and well-made, and it makes the job so much easier than I expected. For the price, it’s an even better deal. I also love that it comes with a pair of gloves that have excellent grip and are totally reusable. On top of that, the kit includes hooks for holding the calipers, which is a really useful bonus. Overall, this set exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!

Replacing the rear brakes on a 2020 Subaru Legacy. Need to reseat the emergency brake piston. After doing some Google searches, the link to this product came up. I was a little hesitant because the information on whether it is safe to use this kind of tool or not is very conflicting. But it worked fine and I have had no problem whatsoever. The cost is great, far less than I would expect for an automotive tool of any kind. It comes with a whole bunch of plates for a great variety of applications (I imagine). I just tried out each one until I found the one that fit. After that, it was only a couple minutes to depress the cylinder. And I was able to use the tool on the front break pistons as well without any problem. A must have for brake pad replacement. Great price. Lots of variations.

Durable and did the job. It was a little hard to use because the disc kept slipping but still worked. For the price it’s a good buy.
