Rhode Island Novelty Spy Look Behind Sunglasses, One Pair

Reasons to buy: I don’t care if you have a purpose to purchase these glasses or not, they are fun. You may not have a reason to buy these glasses at this current time and frankly if you don’t your probably not reading this review but you never know when you might need them. By the time I realized I needed these glasses it was to late to use them for what I needed them for. Fortunately another opportunity came along, they worked great. They are perfect for pranks or other opportunity’s your wonderful mind can conceive. I would imagine it being a great gift for younger family members who are into spy’s or any type of special agent scene. Price: Spy glasses like these are not hard to make and not much different then other brands. So the lower price the better. With prime being on this product and the material being good and all you can’t beat it. Complainants: My only complaint is that you can’t see completely behind you but that is more of a expected issue then a complaint.

Yes! They really do show you a clear picture of what is behind you through the reflection of mirrors on the end of the lens. No! They are not the highest quality sunglasses, but great for the price. They only sort of pass as regular sunglasses. People think they are 3D glasses :P But they look cool and playful and people can not see the mirrors easily. Seems durable relative to the price. Great idea. Lots of fun! I love it!!!

Do not purchase these glasses waste of time

It’s a novelty toy, so it is what one would expect from anything labeled “novelty”. It’s not going to withstand long term play/use; it’s not horribly cheaply made, but it is made of plastic and will break easy if your kids are rough on toys; and the mirror can be very difficult to actually see out of if your child has thick long hair. You definitely have to maneuver your head to be able to see with the mirror as to what is behind you. However, again, it’s a novelty toy! So it is fun, great for the imagination, and does what you would expect and want from it. Also, for the price, it’s a great buy and will occupy your little detective/secret agent for quite some time. I’d definitely recommend. Would even be fun for parties or in gift bags.

These are fun and fine for a cheap pair of gimmicky sunglasses. They are not great quality or fashionable but they are fun for a 9 year old to play a spy with as long as they can be somewhat careful with them. They won’t stand up to abuse. My son is glad he has them though.

Not only are these real sunglasses that block UV rays, the spy function truly does work. I'm impressed. I find that it's easier to see whats behind me if I close one eye and use the other to look at the mirror on that side. And while it says you can see behind you (if you're looking straight ahead), I feel like it's more appropriate to say that it allows you to see between 120-150 degrees behind you, not exactly a true 180 degrees behind your back. But that's a non-issue because all you have to do is subtly turn and look a few more degrees in either direction in order to actually see what/who is behind you. I love these! They don't look like spy glasses either, nobody will have a clue.

I Bought these for $2.85 on July 10, 2012. They Arrived a small Bubble padded brown Envelope. I was Really Surprise that The Quality was Good, the Lens are Fairly Hard ,and the Mirror Section (on the inner side is a Gradual reflective Mirror Tint Faded into a dark grey tint. I Originally Bought this for a Child, But it seems that these are Big Enough to Fit Perfectly on an Adult. It works Really well, I can See the what Behind me very Clearly at a Slight turn of my Head. Some Facts to Note: It has That a "Flat" Lens type (for proper reflection) and the Style its shaped in make one thinks it Either a Toy or a 3D Glasses. The Front of the Lens also Looks "Blue". But the Main thing it WORKS Very well. !!! Other RealView Glasses (for Adult Heads) cost as Much as $20 More than this One. Im Really Satisfied with this Product, it Definitely Not a Toy (for me) !!

Though this is a great gadget, works fine for its purpose, but the front-screen got some patches after a few months, behind the coating I guess.
