This stuff is awesome! I make up a 32 ounce bottle of this as a tea, and drink it (UN-sweetened) at room temperature throughout the day. it has a very pleasant flavor. I honestly like the flavor better than the red rooibos. Will definitely buy again!

I like the green version

I normally drink Davidsons Organic South African Rooibos, the brown tea, but I wanted to try the green version. At first the green tea seemed wimpy in comparison, and the fragrance of the hot tea was less rich than the medicinal smelling brown tea I had come to love, but the green tea grew on me and now I love it. The brown tea, chilled makes an iced tea similar in taste to iced Chinese brown teas. Hot, the brown tea is unique and has a comfort factor like Chinese tea, especially on a cold day. The green tea smells more like cut meadow. I like to drink it room temperature, instead of a glass of water. It is more refreshing than water IMHO. Seems the brown Rooibos has become my winter tea, and the green has become my summer tea. It grows on you, and I no longer care for China teas. Devidson's Rooibos is a good buy. The loose tea is beautiful and wholesome. It looks like it was just harvested. No junk or litter in the teas, .I do not even use as much as recommended. I pour a quart of boiling water on two level teaspoons, and let it steep. For me, two heaping teaspoons is a strong tea. . .

My first taste of this Davidson's loose Green Rooibos tea did not thrill my taste buds, but I figured it was worth drinking for the health benefits. So I finished the cup, and then got the idea to add a Davidson's Spearmint tea bag to the next one, and I really enjoyed it this time! The Green Rooibos surely is an acquired taste, because it is a bid odd in flavor to me, even a bit salty tasting maybe. But the addition of Spearmint to it really makes me want to drink it, so I figure that is a good thing, and that is how I will enjoy it from now on. It seems very fresh, and a little makes a suitably darker tea with boiling water, as directed on the package. I'm sure there are other teas that you can partner this with, if you find it a bit odd like I did. Enjoy!

The tea is very fresh and of a good quality. Green Rooibos itself seems to be the closest caffeine-free substitute for black tea. The flavor is reminiscent of weak black tea, and has no resemblance to the more common fermented (red) Rooibos. This is a good base for making your own herbal tea combinations, or even mixing with black tea to reduce the caffeine.

I really liked this product! and have bought it several times. It was $12.?? now it's gone up in price quite a bit!! so I will not be buying it anymore. I have found this tea elsewhere for a much better price!!!!!

BE CAREFUL: this is GREEN redbush tea. It is a high quality product in its own righ,t but easily mistaken for the more traditional 'red' redbush

Not particularly loving the taste. It isn't as flavourful as green tea (as I hear this is the uncaffeinated alternative for green tea drinkers), but it's great to have this when you don't need caffeine for the day. I use mine with my keurig with one of those reusable filter pods. Sometimes I get some fines at the bottom of my cup, so I might need a finer filter. The taste is okay, and it certainly fills my daily need for tea sans-caffeine.
