I haven’t used it yet but am taking a long road trip with my dog soon and I am confident this product will exceed my expectations. My dog is able to release the restraint I have now which attaches in the seat belt latch.

We got two seat belts because we have two dogs. My SUV is split seat such that both teathers HAVE to come out of the same location. Because they are the wire my dogs can't chew them up. They could conceivably get tangled but my dogs don't really do that and the tether really isn't that long.I like that it's secure and strong because one of my dogs is almost 90lbs and I don't want any of us getting hurt if there were an accident

He has chewed through 2 dog box carrier things. Should not have that problem with this.He is pretty limited in movement but that isn’t all bad.

This is a great product. I attach it to my maltese's harness for running around town. For long roadtrips (which we do a LOT of) I put his crate on something in the middle of the backseat just high enough that he can see out really well and see me and I use two of these to secure it. When I do that I attach them to the headrests. When I attach to his harness I use the post things in the seat of the car. I feel much safer with him confined so he can't reach me or distract me. I know that he is much safer than he would be if he was loose. I highly recommend these! I honestly can't testify about chewability. My guy hasn't chewed on them. I think they're very durable, though.

Finally have a durable, chew proof seatbelt to keep my climber in the back seat :)

This works well attached to the recessed wall hooks in the back of my suv. The length is good to allow my dog to sit, stand or lay down, but short enough to keep him on one side of the vehicle (so cooler/bags/etc can be transported on the other side). He’s a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde personality on car rides, going from chill to crazy-train and back to chill, depending on the scenery (and if a motorcycle is in view). This leash keeps him safe and secure in the back of the vehicle, even when he pulls and lunges at the 2-wheeled noise machines.

This was just what I needed to keep my pup safe and secure while I am driving. She hasn't been able to chew through this one, very sturdy. Perfect length for movement.

My dog had chewed through 3 leashes until a friend recommended this product. I attached it between her collar and her retractable leash. My dog now carries this steel part in her mouth as she exercises in the yard. No more broken leashes. YEAH!
