Dugoni Just Keeps Getting Better
I am a former homicide prosecutor. So, I may take a slightly different view of crime stories then some others might. Here we are at Book 9 of the series about Tracy Crosswhite. I asked myself a few questions. Can Mr. Dugoni develop his character further? Can he make her a more mature and interesting character? Can he still bring us a story that keeps us turning page after page as the suspense builds? Will the story be technically very interesting and full of details about the investigation and solving of crimes? The answer to these questions is a resounding YES. Mr. Dugoni just keeps getting better and better. So rather than spending any more time reading more reviews, I recommend that you buy this book and start reading it right away.

Dugoni always hits it out of the park
Since book one of the Tracy Crosswhite series, he has brought to life an amazing detective. She’s grown through the years, has a baby and a husband, but her “bones” have stayed true and keeps me coming back for more. This one is a must read, and one that can be done in one evening ( I couldn’t stop reading until the end).A great mystery, a good story and an unforgettable cast.

Tracy Crosswhite FTW ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have LOVED the Tracy Crosswhite series. The characters are relatable and loveable, and Dugoni has an exceptional gift for bringing them to life. I get lost in his stories for days. 👍🏼👍🏼

Great book
It was a great story, even though it didn't have the outcome I thought it was gonna be. Usually Dan's case ends up being a part of Tracy's case and in this book it didn't which was different.

Another Tracy Cross white success
Tracy never gives up. She always fights to the end. Love this strong character that Robert Dugoni has created. Can't wait to start the next one!

I just can’t get enough!!!!
If you want to get anything done around the house, don’t start one of these books!!! This one was different, as in Justice comes in many forms, and sometimes, the bad guys get away. I can’t even begin to imagine the research that went into this book, on many levels. I can’t wait for the next one, hope it comes soon. Meanwhile, I better get some stuff done around the house.

Fun read
It's always nice to sit down with a character that you know. These are books that I can count on... I like that on a nice rainy day.

Tracy does it again
This series has been the only series I’ve read in it’s entirety. It’s realistic fiction, but OH SO REAL. Dugoni is a master at his research and he’s so explicit in his writing, it makes his books hard to put down. One more to go…can’t wait!

Like meeting Old Friends Again
Having read all but one of this series, soon to be rectified, I have got to know Tracy Crosswhite and her colleagues and developed a fondness for them. I must confess that I’m not a big fan of female detectives because they’re often depicted as being tough and aggressive; determined to prove themselves as tough or tougher than any male detective. Tracy Crosswhite doesn’t need to adopt a Dirty Harriet persona. She’s smart, intelligent and sharp and respected by the ‘good cops’. The storyline in this book is very clever, but not convoluted and it has a realistic but satisfactory ending. If you’re looking for a good read I have no hesitation in recommending it. Now, I’ve got one more book to read to complete the series so far. Enjoy.

Absolutely brilliant
Well Tracy Crosswhite has done it again solved an unsolvable case. A very gripping storyline, Robert Dugoni is an excellent storyteller. I love Tracy's determination to get to the truth for the families whether the outcome is good or bad. She is sensitive to their plight having gone through it herself. I have now read all nine books and can't wait for the tenth. Zoe Parry you would enjoy this series.

Explosive.
After accepting the job investigating cold cases. Tracy gets involved in the case of a reporter who has been missing for 25 years. Her husband has always been the prime suspect for her disappearance. While investigating, Tracy learns of the last line. A police task force formed to stamp out drugs. This team, although now dispersed, was around at the time of the reporters disappearance. This story tells how corruption goes right to the top. Could this be Tracy's last case? How can you prove anything without witnesses?

not my fav
I’m a huge “Tracy Crosswhite” fan, but this one just felt like it dragged. (Spoilers ahead)*******SPOILERS!!!!-The fact that nothing happened to Moss grinder on me.-Melissa says she drives to a bus station after forgetting everything. However, she later says she had to learn how to drive again!I just felt everyone got away with everything! Disappointing at a reader.
