Just opened the package: what the hell? This is definitely a used item. Who sends out a product that looks like it fell onto the greasy factory floor, then was kicked around before going out to the customer? Check out the photos. The threads on the inside of the cylinder are marred and scratched. Who knows if they will even seal up properly?There are absolutely NO instructions included. However, it should not be too difficult to figure out. As the unit now stands, I will have to make some alterations to the order and position of the attachment points, as there is no way I want this attached directly to my rifle. Did a test fit of the hose onto my rifle and the quick-connect foster fittings did seem to fit. The connection points are a bit scratchy and difficult to engage and not 100% solid. There was some play, but being a newbie I don't know if this is normal or not. The unit itself seems sturdy. As long as it is air tight, I don't get the impression it would explode under pressure.Extra filters and O-rings is a nice touch. Smaller filters fit into a hole in the cap. I don't know where the small O-ring goes; I don't see a place for it. Maybe after unscrewing a fitting it may show up. For now 2 stars is all I can give this product. I haven't used it yet as my compressor is still on its way to me. If this performs better than it looks I will revisit and upgrade my review to 3 stars, maybe 4, if not - down to 1 star they go! They will never get 5 stars for sending out ugly! Thanks for your time.UPDATE: Fri, Nov. 25, 2022: Miracle of miracles, the seller saw this review and has offered to send a new replacement unit. The unit filter arrived in much better, near perfect condition as it should have arrived in the first place. They also included an extra hose and an additional set of filters! The final picture shows how I attached the filter to my compressor. I removed the male foster quick-connect from the filter and screwed in the threaded end of the hose in it's place. The hose from my compressor goes onto the filter, and the hose from the filter goes directly to my gun.Does it work? YES! Very well, as a matter of fact. I re-enforced all threaded connections with a bit of white plumbers tape. After four filling sessions, there are no leaks anywhere in the system. As mentioned before, the construction is solid; I have no fear of catastrophic failure. It gets the job done; any residual moisture or oil not removed by the compressor is caught by the inline filter. I'm happy. Would I recommend this product: YES! For the price point, it is well worth its price for the added protection of your valuable air rifles. Hopefully, from this point on, the company will have a bit better quality control and send out unblemished, undamaged items. This is an excellent quality filter for an air rifle.

Seems very well made. I needed the hose as much as the filter. Lots of spare filters and they can be reused. Be aware; never use molecular sieve in direct contact with aluminum. It forms an acid which can corrode the aluminum. If you notice the filters that come with sieve have a tube to separate it from the aluminum.

Purchased for use with a 4500 psi PCP 12 Volt compressor for adult air rifles. The compressor comes with a small filter but it’s is not adequate for getting dry air. I purchased this filter and used about 1/2 of the filter media and filled the other space with desiccant Gel beads to absorb moisture. Seems to work as needed. I would recommend.
