Great emerald green with some shimmer
Fantastic emerald green with silver shimmer that doesn’t clog my pen. The ink dries well, and doesn’t smear overly easy. You will need to shake your pen often if you want the shimmer effect to be consistent, but it writes well regardless.

Beautiful Ink
This ink is more on the wet side but I still think the color and silvery sheen is pretty and much worth the purchase, especially on cream color paper. I have used it in 2 fountain pens but it needs shaking quite often to keep the silver suspended so I use it with a glass pen and that solves all the shaking of the bottle. I use an eye dropper and place a few drops in a the smaller bottom groove of an acrylic nail glass dappen dish which makes stirring it up very quick and an easy load on the glass nib.

Beautiful ink
Works great with certain medium nibs but beat with the TWSBI Diamond 580AL

Beautiful shimmery ink
This ink is gorgeous. Because my fountain pen's nib is broken, I'm using this with a dip pen, so your mileage may vary. I find that it is very necessary to shake the bottle well to mix the shimmery bits through the ink. Because I'm dipping, at first the ink is dark, almost black, but lightens to gray fairly quickly. I love the way the ink lays down on the paper—use quality paper, please. Even when I used it with my fountain pen before I dropped the nib on a hardwood floor, the shimmer inclusions did not gum up with works of the pen or clog the feed. I'm very pleased, and when I get my replacement pen, I will definitely buy more of this in other colors!

Pretty ink that's best is wet writing pens.
I really do enjoy this ink, as it really is quite beautiful after it dries. You have to use a non absorbent paper such as tomoe river, or clairefontaine otherwise the sparkle soaks into the page and disappears. Few things I have noticed are as follows. 1 if you don't use a wet writing pen the color is more yellow than golden. It is best for medium or broad nib sizes. 2 it dries kind of slowly, that's probably due to the lesser absorbent paper. This could be a problem if you're trying to write something down quickly and then close your notebook or turn the page, however if you want to see that sparkle it's worth the wait. 3 it is not water resistant at all, but this doesn't bother me because I don't really need to worry about water getting on my page. 4 I didn't leave it in my fountain pen for very long (2weeks or so) so I didn't have this problem but I've heard shimmering inks can clog pens on occasion, especially finer sized nibs. It was a bit difficult getting all the shimmer out of the feed in my twsbi vac700r demonstrator, but boy did it look BEAUTIFUL sloshing around inside. Like liquid gold! All in all a really pretty ink, I only remove one star for it looking more yellow in pens that dont write wet.

Beautiful silver
Not sure what the other reviewers are babbling about, this moon dust ink is the proper silver color that i was lookong for. It looks beautiful, just don't remember to shake the bottle well before use.

Oh, the shimmer!
This is a gorgeous ink thus far. I have used this with a glass pen with a fine nib. This ink dries fairly quickly, which is great for this left handed side/over writer. The color is vibrant and the shimmer is amazing. It provides beautiful depth to the writing and drawing. The only drawback is that it must be constantly shaken to get the full effect. Did I mention the gold shimmer? Lovely product.

Gorgeous colour and ink like other Diamine inks.
This is my 4th diamine shimmer ink and my "too many to count"th diamine inks.As usual it has been an excellent ink for me, I do use my shimmer inks in a Lamy Safari or Al-star with a broad nib, but do also use it in a medium nib with no issues. It is a beautiful grey ink with a silver shimmer, very close in colour to their 150th Anniversary ink Silver Fox, maybe a slight bit darker.

Rubbish! Not fit for purpose.
The glitter in the ink simply won’t flow through a fountain pen! And before you ask yes it’s a proper calligraphy fountain pen. All you get it a sort of gold colour writing but virtually no sparkle. The first one or two strokes after you load the pen are better but to be perfectly honest it is not suitable for a fountain pen which makes it not fit for purpose. If you shake the bottle the glitter disperses into the carrier ink but settles to the bottom of the bottle in a few seconds. It might work with a quill type pen I suppose but that’s not a “fountain pen” which what I bought it for.

Simply stunning
This golden ink with gold shimmer is absolutely beautiful. I use it in my Lamy fountain pen with a medium size nib and it follows really well without any clogging from the glitter particles and looks lovely on paper. I have tried several of the Shimmertastic colours and this is my favourite one.

ink
I have used the ink in both a fountain pen, a dip pen and a glass pen and it works well, you do need to shake the ink each time to move the glitter around. I was concerned about postage but arrived OK.
