Heathcliff knows he is the best cat around! Never have we seen such self-confidence topped off with a heavy dose of vanity, cunning, ruthlessness and a mischievous love of gags. He cruises and struts down the street and watch out any person, cat or dog who gets in his way! Although he may terrorize the neighborhood, let an outsider try to push anyone around and he is a veritable tiger of defense.

I love Heathcliff
It's a little sad that the bad director clear didn't really want to make Heathcliff the TV show which he was paid to make but used the production to try to produce his own badly written cartoon and only put footnotes of Heathcliff in the show. The cartoon he clearly made mostly trying to disregard the Heathcliff character by make him a footnote in his own no way near as good cartoon story. The cartoon books of Heathcliff were great and character teachs morality to children. He damage production of Heathcliff by using as way to try to put out his own badly written cartoon which was repeatedly rejected for being very badly written a great many time's. The director failed this great character which I hope gets a second try and not with cheap as trash level cartoon I seen in the current production. Really American cartoons looked nicer in the 1980's then many do now because American investors have become sush cheapskates.

Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats stands out as a personal favorite. All 86 episodes of he 1984-1986 series here
As a child of the 80s, Heathcliff and the Catillac Cats stands out as a personal favorite. All 86 episodes of he 1984-1986 series here, spread out over nine discs. The only things missing are the bumpers and extras included on the Shout! Factory releases and Heathcliff the Movie. The picture on the DVD is very clear, especially compared to my memories of a grainy, weak signaled UHF station that broadcasted the show in my youth. Mel Blanc is just as talented as ever, providing the voice for Heathcliff and the stories still hold up pretty well. The episodes are three segments with the first being dedicated to a Heathcliff adventure (often with a visiting from the three goofballs of the Catillac Cats), the second segment is dedicated to the Catillac Cats (no visit from Heathcliff though), and the final is a PSA/educational short with Heathcliff giving us a lesson.Bottom line, it is a good price for a bit of nostalgia and if you enjoyed Heatcliff as a child and are tempted to buy this collection, go for it!

Great quality fun!
Loving me some Heathcliff!🤣😂🤣 This is such a wonderful cartoon especially if you are a cat lover lol. Disc come in the usual from Mill Creek cardboard box with cardboard sleeves. Minor scratches on a couple of disc but nothing I couldn't live with for the price. $10 was a steal and the cartoon looks great on my blu-ray player. I don't think it could look any better if the disc were blu-ray themselves. Great clean, funny and very entertaining! If you have never seen Heathcliff you haven't got a clue as to what you are missing. Children will love this. I'm a 54 year old child and I do!🤣😂 Get you some Heathcliff and brighten up your day!
