I was surprised at the quality of item!
So far I'm very happy with this item! It had high ratings and I see why! I put it on the side of a cabinet and put a push pin in the hanging hook that is in the center of the educational toy. I secured it with some tape so that it laid flat. It's not necessary to do this but I felt more comfortable with it this way. I also hung it at a height that my niece could reach all the letters and function button. The sound is excellent. The music is enchanting. Great traditional songs for children; fun and lively. I played the music in the morning while I dressed my niece and got her ready for the day. The music moves through the house where you can actually hear the words clearly even from another room. Each exercise is very good; numbers, letters and of course learning through the music. The songs included counting numbers and letters. My 4 year old niece had no problem learning to operate it. This is as good as a computer toy and it runs on batteries. I feel it is an excellent learning tool for a child and most of all she likes it!

Awesome Alphabet Poster
This electronic ABC poster has an impressive amount of features for the price. I purchased it to help my son learn the alphabet this past summer (he's 3) and we had a lot of fun practicing with it. It plays music and it has games like "find the letter" or "find the animal," in addition to just saying the names of each letter when pressed. That said, I do have one complaint, which is that the button to press to make the poster say the name of the letters out loud is in the center of each square. This means when a kid presses on the LETTER, most of the time the poster will be silent. It frustrated my son a few times when he would correctly pick the letter I asked him to find, but then the poster didn't make any sound to "reward" him. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but something to consider.

Absolute Chinese Garbage
The product arrived and was malfunctioning right out of the box. Pressing " T " registered the letter " L " and pressing the letter " L " registers the letter " T ". The same happens for many other letters. After trying to register the "Lifetime Warranty" I discovered this is impossible as the website that you need to use no longer exists as the webhosting has been sold.I tried starting an Amazon return but this item isn't eligible for return.SO! Being the owner of a company that manufactures robotics, I decided to take it apart and have a look. Immediately, the problem was apparent. The cheap and poor quality materials and poor labor resulted in not only the device being wired incorrectly, but several spots where the circuits were shorted were readily visible. To Long Didn't Read Version: The mat is garbage quality and made with garbage materials. Their Lifetime Warranty is bogus because it's impossible to register it.

It’s okay
The sticky circles they give you to put on the back to stick to the wall does not work. Then when my son was pressing on letters at first every letter was the letter J. I had to go purchase a heavy duty command strip just to put it on the wall. Just frustrating all around.
