Rock Tawa 7.5 Inch Kadhai (Pre-Seasoned Cast Iron) Black

This is my third order from rock, very happy with the product, will surely update the pics of food cooked in it. Attractive to magnet, heavy, deep enough to fry pooris or 3 big Medu vadas, just go for it!!!Note: I’ve been reading many negative reviews on rusting of the cookware in just a day, but it needs to be immediate drying ( heat on flame) & just wipe some oil all over; that’s how this has to be maintained; otherwise even 5 mins water retention can cause rust as it’s a natural material & rusting is it’s nature!!!

Superb product. Go for it. I was initially a bit skeptical but ordered anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. It looks seasoned but one still needs to do their own seasoning for additional maintenance. Size was perfect for me, the purpose was to bake and fry. There is a flat bottom in the centre for around 3 inches which is quite helpful. Heavy as cast iron should be. Because of small size the weight is not an impediment. Quite a decent finish. Photo is after using it a few times

Very nice pre seasoned kadai, size is what I expected

I have been using this kadai since a month... perfect for a family of 3 member.. good for making small quantity curry and fry... it is very easy to clean and food cooks as in a non stick pan.. it’s little heavy but very cute little kadai.. I am in love with the product using it in daily for my cooking

Pleasant to see the workmanship. I am used to Lodge and this one is really comparable in quality. Price is also quite reasonable.Seasoning is already there but I washed and applied my own seasoning. It is really mini workhorse and using it almost daily.If I am really nitpicking, "ROCK" written on side is not clear. It is okay but it is not precise. Also "ROCK" written at bottom is quite precise and aesthetically appealing.Wishing you success for further improving standard of CI product making in India. 5 star from my side.
