So far, so good.
No problems installing this in place of a standard breaker. So far this new AFCI breaker hasn't tripped with any of the things I've tried on it such as vacuums, ceiling fans, tools, door opener. It does trip like it's suppose to with the test button. I like the extra piece of mind knowing that this is now protecting the most used circuit in the house. Too bad GE doesn't make a double pole version. GE makes a gray version of this breaker with the exact same model number, but it seems to be an old version to me. I made sure to buy the black version since it matches the rest of the breakers in the panel. The gray version seems to have a longer pigtail using stranded wire and thicker insulation on it.
