Purrfect!
Our cat prefers it to the hard cone which we got from the vet. The cat couldnt get used to the width of the cone and kept banging the edge (which would jolt him) as he attempted to go through doorways - this collar stops him from licking his wound but has a bit more 'give' in it and looks a lot more comfortable. I would also add that we purchased the medium, for a 'medium' sized cat, and that the cat cannot lick/bit the wound on his front paw as the collar restricts this, however he can reach his back paws and legs. The cat also find it a lot easier to eat from plates as the collar tucks under the lip of the plate so long as the food is placed close to the lip (otherwise they might drag the collar into the food).

10/10 Amazing product! Wish I would’ve bought sooner
I have a bengal, approx. 4.5-5kg who recently just had an abscess partially drained from his neck/cheek area. He doesn’t wear a collar because he always finds a way to take it off, same goes for the traditional plastic cones which he hates and causes him a lot of distress. This product on the other hand, slipped on so easy, he is not bothered one bit and is able to still walk and jump around freely. He even fell asleep as soon as I put it on 😂 The larger size is spot on if you have a medium or larger cat, there is a lot of room for adjustment (which is very easy to do) and does not come off once you adjust it to your cats size. Not to mention how soft and cute the different options are! If you are a cat owner, PURCHASE THIS! I wish I would’ve bought this sooner, It would’ve saved me a lot of hassle and my cat stress 😭❤️

Good quality but cat managed to remove every time
The cone is so cute and soft and seems like good quality, I loved it and bought it for my cat’s post-neutering operation but he managed to get out of it every single time he was not a fan 🤷♀️ might work if your cat is less feisty than mine

Strangulation risk after washing - warning!
This is the first one star review I've ever had to give on Amazon, if memory serves me right, and hopefully the last! This product is great for the first use - goes right over kitty's head and secures firmly (always leave space for two fingers!). It is soft and appears to be well made. However, it was a different story after having washed it. The instructions on here say "Machine Washable", but I'd take that with a grain of salt. After a wash, the drawstring expanded and it was harder to slip it through the clasp - but I didn't think this would be too much of an issue, because I could undo it again. What I hadn't noticed is that the plastic drawstring clasp had also partially melted, which meant the spring mechanism inside no longer worked (not sure how I didn't see this!). My cat had eventually managed to snake her neck around the collar and pulled fur from the base of her tail, so I decided this collar was no longer suiting its purpose and would come off. Trying to take it off was another matter! The clasp would not release, so I ended up having to pull against it firmly without injuring my cat to set her free. Naturally, my cat panicked as I think anyone would! In the end, I took the decision to cut the drawstring to set my cat free, essentially rendering the product useless until I re-drawstring it. The materials used for the drawstring and clasp of this product presents a strangulation risk, as if she had got caught on something, she likely would not have been able to get herself free because of the expanded drawstring and partially melted clasp, not allowing for easy movement. I am very disappointed in this product, and expected more from it. Ordered on the 17th March, came on the 19th, broken on the 31st! This next bit is perhaps an oversight on my part, but I would not recommend this product for those people whose pets have wounds on their lower body. My cat managed to further agitate her injury by pulling fur from the base of her tail, even with the collar on. TL;DR - drawstring expanded and clasp melted after first wash, which then became a strangulation risk as it was hard to undo the collar. Had to cut my cat free.

Fantastic!!!!!
Honestly, I was worried my cat would somehow fight it off herself but nope. She just kind of accepted it as opposed to the actual plastic cones which I've previously bought and she would try to remove it. They als took away her side vision sort of which I did not like... This still allows her to eat... She's still aware of her environment which the cones kind of prohibited. This is lovely, it is big enough so she cannot lick her fur and it is comfortable for her. Trust me, I know her. Saying that thought, she does look miserable haha! I would HIGHLY recommend this item, no joke and this is a genuine review! Look at my video. I do t think she is quite grasped the fact that she's not scratching herself lol. Worth the buy!!!!!!!

Cute but ineffective.
Our sweet boy was castrated a few days ago and has been looking absolutely miserable. We’ve had to tie his cone of shame to his harness because even though he couldn’t reach his incision by mouth, he was using the cone to dig at his wound. We have been looking for an alternative way to keep him from being sad and depressed and saw this. It looked promising, multiple reviews even said it had been used for other cats that have castrated/spayed and it worked wonders. When it arrived today, it looked smaller than the one in the picture and when I put it on our cat, he was immediately able to reach behind him and access his incision. I even tried the tying method with his harness and the orange because anything is better than the horrid plastic cone but it still wasn’t enough and he was able to reach around. We have a domestic shorthair so it’s not like he’s abnormally small or large. We have had to revert back to the cone of shame and harness with the tying method. I’m giving this product 3 stars because while it wasn’t able to keep him from reaching his incision, it’s adorable, it’s very soft and comfortable, and it did brighten his mood while he had it on, he just seemed happier. Hope this helps.

My cats has a sensitive skin condition that causes occasional itchy patches around his neck. I need to cover it to prevent him from scratching while it is healing. He has been wearing the pineapple for about a week now and it is perfect. It's nice and soft so doesn't cause any further discomfort. It doesn't stop him from eating, jumping, etc. When he lays down/sleeps it acts like a pillow. He let's me put it on very easily so obviously it's not bothering him, which makes me happy! The only thing to remember if you use it for a similar purpose is to give your cat lots of brushes since thr pillow does get in the way of licking/cleaning their fur. I also give him supervised breaks from the neck pillow so he can groom and just be free for a while (I supervise to make sure he doesn't scratch). Bonus..the pineapple is SUPER CUTE!!

So a little context, my brother has three cats, two fully grown and one kitten. The two fully grown kitties are so sweet, two days ago he got them fixed and well- they were miserable with the vet cones on so I went to researching like any good kitty aunt would. I found these plush cones and I was like oh my gosh these will be adorable, they’re light weight and comfortable for your kitties with a soft structure. And while it may be a very good product, it honestly just depends on your cat. With Beamer, we put the watermelon on and she’s as happy as can be, loves the neck pillow. Merky is a little escape artist, but we changed up the layout of the furniture a bit so she couldn’t wedge it off so we’re trying it some more with her. It just goes to say, how your cat takes it depends solely on the cat. Not everything will work for every cat, and if the watermelon doesn’t work for Merky then we have two watermelons for Beamer!
