Great, but thin, adaptable pads for cheap!
I'm so pleased these are still available. Must have been at least 5 years ago I bought some cheap G.E. behind-the-neck headphones to go in my laptop bag. The thin foam on the G.E. phones lasted only about a year, so I bought these cheap foam covers back then and they worked great! Since I started using these replacement pads, I've found they usually lasted about a year per set, so I ran out of them a few months ago. So I re-ordered and instead of 3 pair as advertised, they sent me 4 pair. Cool! The covers are very thin and round, but they fit around the oval earpieces of my headphones just fine, but tend to come off with careless handling. A little bit of rubber cement holds them securely in place, but removes easily when the pads become worn. So I'm set for the next few years as far as pads go, but I'm pushing 5 years on these original headphones. So I'm worried about replacing the phones since G.E. has apparently discontinued this model.Off topic, but I need to add: I doubt I spent over $13.00 for the G.E. phones, but they're the best I've ever heard for under $240.00. I've bought Phillips, Sony, Pioneer, Sennheiser, Koss, that rap Dr. you know, and sampled several others. Nothing I've heard BEATS the cheap G.E.s. I get extended bass, smooth natural midrange and voices, and fine treble that lets me hear cymbals without voices being sibilant. My net searches show they are discontinued, so I'm treating them like the gold that they are. I know that the main failure for headphones is when the wires break in the cord - - - so very careful handling by me until they just die of old age.

Pretty good replacement foam covers
These WILL fit 2 inch round headphones, no bigger. I put them onto my old Sony MDR-G42 pair of headphones for replacements, since the originals disintegrated from age.It took some careful stretching, but they're designed to be snug. If you take it easy, they won't tear. They don't seem to be quite as thick, sturdy foam as the original covers and why I gave them 4 stars. But they're still good covers to keep hair out of the speakers and provide some cushioning for your ears. The package had 6 covers total inside (3 pairs) and was $4. I got free shipping. So it was a pretty good price. The package is a resealable bag with a light cardboard piece stapled on (shown in my photo, with the cardboard opened to show the reclosable top of the bag). My photo also shows one pair on my Sony headphones and the other 2 pair in the bag.I would order them again if I needed more replacements, but not if the cost goes up.

Perfect Sony 409B-DRBT22 bluetooth headphone replacement 2-inch foam pads. Sony TMR-BT8iP.
My Sony 409B-DRBT22 headphones are about 6-years old and the 2-inch foam pads just fell apart. I started looking for replacement foam pads everywhere but could not find them. Came across reviews on Amazon from two other DRBT22 owners complimenting the seller (SoftRound), the product and quick shipping. The fact that seller is USA based and priced each foam pad for about $0.50, is exactly what I was looking for plus minimal risk from overseas shipping delays, lost packages or extra hidden fees. You get six for $3.19 and the $0.48 shipping was included in the $3.19!I was not expecting much from inexpensive foam pads, but these are thicker and softer and better quality than the original foam pads that came with my headset. Maybe it is just because the originals are old. These pads are the perfect replacements and make the headset look new again for cheap-cheap money. When installing them, be very careful when stretching them over your headphone earpiece. Pull slowly and gently from various spots around the circumference of the foam pad instead of from only one spot because you do not want to over stretch them and tear them up. Now I know from reading the reviews that no matter how good you take care of any headphones with foam pads, the pads will eventually dry up and fall apart. The 2-inch foam pads are the perfect ones for the Sony DRBT22 that I use with my Sony TMR-BT8iP 30-pin plug in stereo transmitter and iPod Classic.Note that the six foam pads come loosely packed in a 6X8-inch envelope. Be very careful when cutting open the envelope. I ordered these late Tuesday night, the seller shipped on Wednesday from VA and I received them in CA on Friday via USPS. My expected receiving date was not until 3 more days! I could not be any happier with this purchase since I am able to use my bluetooth headphones again.

tiny
These little beauties are extremely small (as I should have known); way too small for the typical portable phones/headset.

I'll buy the Sennheiser foam pads next time!
I thought I could save some money instead of paying for the expensive Sennheiser foam pads. After all, they're just foam, right? Wrong! Not all foam passes high frequencies transparently. I should have known better since I produce audio! After mixing a song I always bring it to different devices to see how it sounds on a broad range of players. My mixes were sounding great on everything but when I played them on my ipad using my Sennheiser headphones they sounded very muddy compared to everything else I played them on. I couldn't figure out why until I stumbled on an old pair of Sennheiser foam pads that I'd never unpacked and used. I took the Top Stage ones off and replaced them with the Sennheiser pads and WOW what a difference! All of a sudden the music came to life with sparkling highs and no longer sounded muddy! Apparently the foam in the Sennheiser pads is much more transparent and passes the high frequencies better without muffling them. Yes, they're way more expensive, but trust me, they're worth it!
