**UPDATE: 2/26/21 - Just bought a second one — first one is still perfect & works 100% the same as Day 1; I bought a second so one is always handy at home or at our vacation cottage! This is the shortcut to a sleek, straight look for my long, wavy hair! I’m amazed at how effective and fast it is to transform “beach hair” to “date night hair!” It’s a reliable and well-made appliance!This is the second heat straightening brush that I owned, and what an improvement: I can’t say enough good things about THIS ONE! It’s far superior to any other one I’ve tried. The design is unique in that the heated bristles are more like rigid fins than hairbrush bristles, which is VERY effective on smoothing and straightening my hair into sleek plaits. I have medium-fine, sort of wavy/sort of straight long hair, and if I don’t blow-dry it with a brush after washing or sleeping on it, it tends to look like a witchy mess. I usually wash it every third day and rely on dry shampoo for an in-between refresh, but I’m impatient about the time and effort it would usually take to get “date night” sleek hair using a standard flat iron (or my old $25 straightening brush from Sally Beauty) on a daily basis. This brush has changed my routine 100% because it’s so FAST! I’ve attached three photos, all taken after I’d spent the day after sitting on the beach in windy, humid, ocean air — and the “frizz effect” was in full bloom. These pics were taken within minutes of each other when I went indoors to style my hair: “The Before”, Then “3 minutes in and one side done”, and “The After” — The whole process only took me about seven or eight minutes from beginning to end, including the time it took to heat the brush up to 410°, which is almost instant. The first day that I used the brush, I had an appointment with my hair stylist for a touchup on my highlights, and she was raving about how smooth and sleek my long hair looked. She’s been taking care of my hair for several years and knows how I normally arrive to the salon so her compliment was genuine — she even asked for the details on my new MiroPure Straightening Brush so she could refer it to her other clients. The bottom line is that this is a well-constructed appliance that does exactly what it promises, and I couldn’t be happier with it… Worth every penny!! (Just to clarify, I give it three stars on drying power because that’s not what it supposed to do. There is no airflow — I did use it on slightly damp but mostly dry hair once and the heat was enough to remove the remaining moisture underneath and around my neck, but I wouldn’t rely on it for transitioning from wet hair, use a blowdryer first.)

Best hair appliance ever. I originally bought one of these back in 2016 and have used it almost every day. Finally some of the little teeth broke so I figured it was time for a new one. The new one is great, slightly different in that it doesn’t have the bristles surrounding the heating elements so my hair slips through more easily, but I like the new design better. It seems to be the same great quality and I really like that there is a temp lock and auto shut off with the new design. This appliance is a huge time saver for me. I can’t imagine having to flat iron almost waist length hair. The other thing I like is that I can set the temp to 380 and it gets the job done in a pretty fast pass. My hair is silver/white and heat turns hair this color brassy so the less heat the better. With a good heat spray and a quick pass (not brushing through slowly) it doesn’t seem to have any effect on the color, but still gets my hair silky straight. The new model is also lighter which is nice. I have recommended this straightener to so many people since I got the first one nine years ago. It is more than worth what I paid both times. I ordered this for my daughter and I to share. We both have slightly below-the-shoulder hair, very thick, fine, and naturally wavy (mine is wavier than hers). We used it for the first time a couple days ago.Pros:1. It's packaged beautifully. The box is sturdy, it comes with a cover for the brush, and the heat resistant glove included is the nicest I've ever received with a hair straightener.2. It heats up in seconds. It automatically heats to 350 degrees upon turning it on. If you want it higher, you have to set it to your desired temperature. 450 is max.3. It's so easy to use...quick and mostly effective.4. The brush seems to be well made and the heft of it feels nice in my hand. It's a bit more expensive than other straightener brushes, but I feel the cost is warranted.Cons:1. The brush is a little large, so I found it a bit difficult to get the shorter under hairs completely straightened. It was just too big to fit into these smaller places.2. Just brushing through the hair doesn't get rid of waves. You have to actually section out the hair and slowly do small sections at a time. It's still quicker than regular flat iron, but not quite as effective. I would sometimes have to swipe through my hair sections two or even three times to get it completely straight. (But, like mentioned above, my hair is wavy and very thick.)Overall, I'm a fan. This will be my go-to if I'm looking for a straight look and in a hurry. Recommended!

I love this! I have thick, curly hair so I was a bit skeptical. It works great. Super easy to use and heats up quickly.

This is the first time that I have tried one of these straightener brushes! I have had it for awhile now and it works great! The heat up time is super fast! It doesn't take much for storage and it makes my hair feel soft after use! It is such a great product and I have recommended it to several people!!

Great concept, but it’s difficult to get the ends straight. My ends usually end up a little frizzy and I need a flat iron to smooth out the ends. I still use this brush in conjunction with my flat iron, though. Because my hair is so thick and wavy, I like to brush through with this tool then go back and section my hair for straightening with my flat iron. Not a “bad” product, but I personally prefer a flat iron. This brush does help speed things up if your hair is thick and wavy/curly.

Love this straightening brush. I'm too lazy to use a traditional flat iron. With this brush, I can get my hair done in 5 minutes. Easy to use. My only issue is I sometimes hit the temp button while using.
