I've only had this leaf rake for about 6 months, but that included a very leafy spring when the rake got a lot of use. I've had two previous pool rakes/skimmer nets over the years but it's been a few years since I used one myself. I fired our pool guy in January and took over pool duties. The old rake I had in my garage was flimsy, the metal perimeter bent easily and the plastic "lip" degraded from scraping on the pool bottom easily. I splurged and bought this higher end rake figuring with their excellent warranty I couldn't go wrong. It turns out you do get what you pay for, at least in pool rakes/skimmer nets. This rake is solidly built, doesn't flex and so far there are no signs of abrasion on the lip. I've had no problem scooping up tiny leaves on the bottom of our 9.5' deep pool. I'm very happy with this purchase and would unhesitatingly recommend this rake.I can't comment on how the company handles warranty claims, and based on the performance in these past 6 months or fairly frequent use, I suspect I will never find out.

i was having problems with my polaris, so i decided to give this a try. sure it is manual, but it is easier than having to take out the robot to empty the bag, it never needs to be fixed like a robot, and it does not take up space in the swimming pool or look unsightly. i have had mine now for 2-3 years, it i usually left out in the sun so the plastic has faded, but the mesh net is extremely durable and works great. last year i did not keep up with fall leaves and had a green pool this spring with a huge amount of leaves on the bottom, this net picked up everything - there is no way the polaris could have done the same. the net is big but also stiff which makes it easier to turn upside down and shake out the debree. i was skeptical about the high price, but after replacing 2 cheap nets from the local pool store i decided to try this, it has already saved me money from cheap replacements.

I purchased the Leaf Rake Skimmer just over 2.5 years ago. It was sturdy, very well made and does a great job keeping my pool clean. It is much better than other rake/skimmers I had purchased in the past. What really so sold me on the product was the lifetime, no questions asked warranty. Most skimmers wear out in about 12-15 months, so this seemed like a great value, if they really would stand behind the product which I couldn't know for sure at the time of purchase.Last month the netting developed a hole. I contacted ProTuff for a replacement. Frankly I was skeptical and thought I would get no response or would be asked to pay a shipping and handling fee. A customer service person responded right away and told me a replacement would be sent out the next day, no charges what so ever. I live in Hawaii so it took a few days for the rake/skimmer to arrive, but I received a brand new, high quality rake. I like the product, but am really impressed with the customer service.

I purchased the pool 18/19 pool net and the quality is exceptional. I purchased my pool net approximately 4 years ago and use it multiple times daily year round. The pool nets I have purchased in years past would usually last no more than a year. I have had to replace my original net only once and the warranty is second to none. No questions asked as to what happened to the net, no squabbling back and forth. Went online, submitted a request for replacement and in less than 3 minutes the replacement requests was completed online. Within a few days the replacement net arrived. This company is remarkable and I strongly recommend their line of pool products as well as their exceptional (second to none) product warranty.

I love my ProTuff pool net and have used it constantly for the last 4 years. It works great especially for all the leaves and small sediment that collects at the bottom of the pool. I noticed a very small tear in the bottom of my net this summer and remembered that this net had a Lifetime Warranty. I contacted ProTuff Products and the customer service was great. They promptly sent me a new net! It's rare that companies stand by their products with such a Lifetime guarantee!UPDATE: For some reason my new replacement net had a small tear in the net shortly after I received it. Again I contacted ProTuff and they immediately sent me a new replacement net. I used my first one for many years and it's one of the best I've used! I have just received my replacement net within days after contacting the company through Amazon. I am very pleased with the LIFETIME WARRANTY as the company is true to their word!

I had this pool net for about five years until the plastic edging began to get brittle and fall apart due to pool chemicals, sun, and use. I remembered the lifetime warranty that was offered when I bought the net years ago. I contacted ProTuff products and 5 days later I had a brand new pool net on my porch. I can’t say enough good things about them. I realize I spent most of my review covering the warranty, but I also want to comment on the quality of the equipment. I have burned through many nets with many different brands and I would choose this one again even without the warranty.

Four years ago I ordered this pool net because it had a lifetime warranty. Which I must admit seemed a little too good to be true. I've used it all this time and noticed it was unraveling where the net is secured to the plastic.Not remembering when I ordered it, I did a quick Amazon search and sent them a brief description of the problem. The next day a Pro Tuff rep emailed me with a few questions and reassured me the warranty was 100% legit. I answered the questions and they sent me confirmation that a new net was on its way.Thank you Jais at Pro Tuff for standing behind your product and an unbelievably awesome warranty.So worth the extra few bucks we paid four years ago.And now they have a lifelong customer!!100% AWESOME!
