works better than expect as put on with a brush
Works great and seems of good quality and can be layered to the thickness you want. As dries quick so buy extra brushes or rollers. Update 7-25 I needed this stuff to think out as using more like a paint where if you use it otherwise it kind of runs. Mineral spirits from rust oleum is what I used to thin it. Manufacture says you can't but you can and it still dries like normal as I first tested in a jar and solidified like a hard rubber surface. Just so you know nothing sticks to this stuff as paint and other type of rubber coatings unless it is of the same chemistry as why I had to thin this stuff out and use with a fine brush but dries fast like starts in minutes and then really unusable in about 15-20 minutes for the same effect.

$aved Big Buck$
Seals almost anything. Just restored my split-seam $350 golf cart roof for just $42 total...

Good Sealer
I used this product to seal a retaining wall. Seems to work well, resists water and looks good. Must admit that cleanup is difficult. I used a cheap brush and threw it out when the project was complete.

Coated my workbench for electronics repair work
I coated my whole workbench in my garage with the stuff and they turned out amazing. It was about 45 degrees, so I put a little space heater on it and it dried in a couple hours.

did the job, easy to use
Problem of electrical cord passing down through a backyard fountain. Someone had tried to seal it with RTV, which left it leaking and a surface difficult to seal to. I cleaned surfaces with white vinegar (4 percent acetic acid), then muriatic acid (15 percent HCl), and then rinsed and dried. Brushed acids on with old tooth brush. Secured the cord to prevent movement and applied two generous layers to this sealant two days apart, extending them out past the old seal attempt a couple of inches. Applied it with a popcicle stick and cleaned up my hands immediately with soap and water. No leak, no mess, no trouble. Doesn't matter whether it sealed to the old RTV or not as I can see it bonded well to the electrical cord and to the fountain surface. I bought 2 pounds and probably used about one or two ounces, but it was well worth the cost. I like things that work the first time with no hassle, especially when fixing someone else's screwup.

Damage
I opened the shipping box, which was not damaged. And found the flex seal can was partially crushed and had rust around the top rim and bottom. The lid does not fit securely, which may create an opportunity for the product to dry out in the future.

Beats expectations
This is first time with this particular Flex formula. The results are amazing as it leaves a flexible rubber coating. I have an older favorite cracked sprinkler..water sprayed everywhere except where it should. This product filled in all those plastic cracks and it now works like new. Did not have to toss and help fill up landfill. Dogs have 10 year old 6ft rigid plastic pool..also ready for dump. Was able to fill all cracks and they are out playing in it. Edit: I Realize I used this product for minor repairs just to practice and try out, but have no doubt all the experienced DIY users commenting on their great experiences using for bigger repairs are correct.
