.com Combine medieval knights with some (relatively) grown-up Power Rangers, throw in dragons and two-headed dogs, and update the story with female and African American warriors, and you've got a politically correct fantasy for today's kids. This 85-minute movie is an outgrowth of the FoxKids half-hour television series. The four titular knights find their quests for custom-made armor laden with special powers constantly interrupted by the evil Queen Maeve, who is determined to wrest the kingdom from the king, father of female knight (and princess!) Deirdre. Filmed on location in Ireland and sporting computer-animated effects, this tale should appeal to the young Dungeons-and-Dragons male crowd, as well as young females looking for a more proactive role model than the traditional Arthurian maiden. --Kimberly Heinrichs

The Last Power Ranger Spin-Off Is Surprisingly The Best
It has been ages since I've seen this show and I enjoyed every minute of it! I think I actually watched this more than Power Rangers In Space at the time (I don't know if I'm right about that, the last time I saw this show was 15 years ago). I was surprised that this doesn't start off with the first two episodes, which I think hurts it since those who don't remember or haven't seen the show will wonder how the Knights already have their weapons. The four episodes featured detail how each hero gains their respective armor and it does get repetitive but it still entertains. The acting is pretty good for a show like this, we've gotten worse from other Saban shows, haven't we Masked Rider? On the production side, the CGI for the monsters is terrible! Did they blow the costume budget on the armor and the Temra Sentinels? Couldn't they have just re-used monster suits from Power Rangers and Big Bad Beetleborgs? I don't knock the show for its effort in the effects department I give Saban major credit for doing an original tokusatsu-style show from scratch AND actually filming in Ireland which I know wasn't cheap but they could've brought down production costs by re-using old monster suits (they've done it before on other productions with monsters from Beetleborgs popping up in Power Rangers). It was a nice stroll down memory lane for me and I do think that this was the best of the Ranger spin-offs, though it wouldn't take much to be better than Masked Rider or VR Troopers. A shame it didn't last longer, it had another season left in it (which it was supposed to get but it's budget ended up going to Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy).

Be kind and rewind.
The movie was nice, very entertaining. The best way I can describe this show, is like if the Power Rangers played Dungeons & Dragons. The only issue I had was that the seller forgot to rewind the video tape. Other than that, the tape itself was in great condition. If I ever do buy another video tape from the seller, I can only hope that they rewind it before shipping it out.

Might be better then Power Rangers.
I was still a kid in around 2nd grade when this aired and I actually remember it more fondly than Power Rangers. I even had a bunch of the action figures. I remember taking them for show and tell.Anyway, it is kinda cheesy in hindsight, but it's enjoyable. One highlight would be the transformation sequences where that summon their armor. The design of the evil knight team is pretty cool too.

I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE ELSE THINKS!
Nobody around here cares for these guys anymore than I and other admirers do. That's why I feel sorry for them. Saban probably didn't want nothing more to do with them after Lost Galaxy, so in August 1999, he took them off the air, right when Nemain, the "new" Queen of Temra, booted Maeve out of the Caste of Temra and took her throne. Now what? How come there's been no word on when the legacy will continue? How come those bulls**t Digimon are the ONLY things that matter on Fox Kids TV? Look, I know sooner or later, you have to move on to the next best thing, but COME ON! Please take a note from the Pokémon. At least they're still on the air even with all those new episodes they've been putting out and whilst they've gone downhill thanks to the rotten Digimon. I still have all the action figures from last year. God forbid, if there were a Mystic Knight of Thunder, especially if it's a girl (my favorite Mystic Knight is Deirdre even though the whole cast is awesome), I'd LOVE to see that. I even have the video, which I've seen many times and even brings tears to my eyes at times knowing the obsession I've had with them and how I wish they were still on the air, even though it's only a TV show. It's nothing, though, compared to my obsession with Andrea Bocelli. You won't want to know how hard I've cried many nights just thinking about him.And not even a movie yet? I see the Pokémon, Power Rangers, and Digimon getting big-screen movies, but then, that's because they're way more popular than these guys. The Powerpuff Girls might get one, too. Actually, I like two of the Powerpuff Girls, namely Blosson and Bubbles. It's getting late, so let me get out of here.

Mighty Morphin Power Rip-Off
This is nothing more then a Power Rangers rip-off. It was just cashing in on the success of said show. Aside from that, the cast is bland & forgettable, the fights are luke-warm and the villian is 1D at best. Infact This whole show is forgettable. I mean, how many of you actually remember this show? I give this show a 0 out of 10.

Old is new
I wish they put the entire series on DVD. I already have the only video they made.

This movie rocks! Yeah!
I love this movie, and the television show. The Mystic Knights are sooooo cool. I used to watch it every day after school, until they sadly, *sniff*, took it off the air. My friends and I used to have Mystic Knights parties and dress up as the characters. We then acted out the episode. Our favorite Mystic Knight is Angus. . .and Rohan, and Garrett( even though he isn't in the movie), and Deirdre. We are annoyed with Ivar because he always wears the same outfit, which is always the same color. It would be sooooo cool to have the entire series available for purchase. It should be on DVD. Yeah. Garrett's hair is cool!

Entertaining
My kids loved this. They watched it over and over. Clean, entertaining fun. Great purchase for car trips. They practically wore out the tape!
