These work and are comfortable
These work great for me. I have a Garneau Raid helmet and a small-medium head. With the way the helmet fits me, the Wind-Blox is a bit longer than the strap, but I was still able to attach it. My helmet is actually a little more comfortable and fits more snugly with these attached. They do not block 100% of wind noise, but they eliminate the worst noise, the high-pitched wind that seems to go directly into your ear canal. With these, the wind sounds more distant and more like a hum. I wear earbuds while riding on a bike trail, and the Wind-Blox make it much easier to hear the audio. This allows me to turn the volume down considerably, so now I can also hear external sounds better. The materials seem to be very sturdy and top-quality. The velcro is strong and the outside feels like soft neoprene.

Effective wind noise reduction
Takes enough wind noise away that I can safely listen to a podcast using bone induction headphones. It doesn't fit quite flush to my head so I suspect it can be further improved.

Bulky / ineffective
Do not help wind noise, sorry. Also look silly.

Not very effective with thick stemmed sunglasses
These work great if you don't wear glasses, or use glasses with very thin stems. My sunglasses have thicker stems, so lift the devices off the side of my face and let the wind go right through. Since they are so long, you can't really move them out of the way. Since they are so thick, you can't really put the glasses over them. So, the wind noise reduction is nil when I wear my sunglasses. On a 90 mile ride this past week I tried them with and without my glasses...big difference. There doesn't seem to be a reason the Wind-Blox are as long as they are, so I'll try cutting them down so the stem of my glasses goes over the top of the device and report back. I figure 1/2" off each side should do the trick. But notice nowhere in the advertising or instructions is anyone shown wearing glasses. So they do the job "as advertised." As I said, my thin steel stems worked fine...anything thicker made the device very ineffective.

Great addition to helmet straps!
I've been using these Wind-Blox for 4 years, these block over 50% of the wind noise. I use them on my road rides. Make sure you get the right length for the helmet straps - too short and it won't work.

Doesn’t work
Doesn’t work very well and impossible to use with sun glasses.

This really works!
This really works like it says. I have been wanting something like this for over 30 years, but just too lazy to do it myself. For me, they reduce 80% - 90% of the wind noise in my ear. FIRST off, be sure to measure your front ear strap first, with my helmet I got the Short Wind-Blox and it fits just right, the normal/regular one would have been too long for my strap. The only glitch I found was the thickness, fitting it with my helmet straps. I have the Giro Register MIPS helmet, and the straps around the ear are sewn together and do not adjust or extend. The instructions state to attach the noise reducer with the thick part of the unit inside the strap, next to your head, but for me, it made the strap uncomfortably tight. So I just turned them around and attached with the thick padded section on the outside of the strap, with the Wind-Blox logo next to my head. Sorry Wind-Blox, no one can see the logo now.... oh well! All-in-all, I do recommend the Wind-Blox for reducing wind noise. I wish I had some YEARS ago!

Better than cat ears but takes a little tweaking for best results
It works OK and I found low velocity wind blocked better than high velocity. TIP: While riding at higher velocity winds trying turning the strap slightly one way or the other. It takes a little tweaking to find the sweet spot for best blocking wind noise but its worth the effort. I followed the instructions spot on but still find that I have to turn the helmet straps a bit to best reduce wind noise.

I have issues with noise while riding my bike. The noise reducers help somewhat. Not great, but they help cut down on the noise. As with all advertised products, the claims are under ideal conditions which is never the case when riding with wind coming from all directions. For those who are interested, my average speed is around 25 kilometers per hour, not a real fast rider but being 68, it's the best I can do on an average day.

Im surprised on how well this works! Before all i would hear is the roar of the wind, now i hear the tires on the pavement, the chain moving along the sprockets, and the squeak of my shoes and pedals. Once you ensure the temple straps on your helmet is tight to your head, these block the wind noise :)
