Magic is right!!!
My 15 ft round Intex pool had a slight yellowish tint in the water. Similar to another reviewer’s photo. I was blaming it on the reflection of surrounding trees, & the pool liner that had faded, until I read a blog on metals in the water & they had recommended this product. I ordered it. Poured the product into the pool at night and when I woke up this morning to check if it worked I was shocked !!!! It’s crystal clear !!! No more yellow tint, & no cloudy water from this product either. I guess I did have metals in my water. I am ordering another bottle now for maintenance purposes. This product is truly magic !!!

Will cause cloudiness, but does work!!
This continues to be my go-to to remove the metals out of the water. I have struggled with cloudy water from this product but that means that it's working. I've had to even floc it before to remove the cloudiness, but I've recently found that Pool First Aid works the absolute best to clear the cloudiness. I also use Poollife Intensive Stain Prevention as a weekly/bi-weekly treatment just to keep everything at bay, as that helps to also remove metals (especially staining on the liner)... both products actually removes metals and doesn't just put them in suspension. Metal Magic crystallizes the metals and that's why the water gets cloudy - it will pull the stains off the liner too. Poollife Intensive does not make the water cloudy, but does remove the metals through the filter, but I don't think Poollife removes as many metals as Metal Magic. When using Metal Magic, try to let the filter clear the water for a few days (because if you have heavy metals, the water will be crazy cloudy)... but if it doesn't clear in the timeframe you would like, try Pool First Aid because it is amazing at clearing cloudy water, even water that is cloudy from Metal Magic!!!

Clear pool
I’ve had an above ground pool for 30 years . This is the first time I use this product to remove rust colored stains from the liner, and I was amazed how fast it worked. If you have water with high iron content, this is a product you need to keep your pool from staining.

Amazing Product!
Second summer in a row using a full bottle on 5,000 gallon pool. After I shock it the chlorine makes the water have a tint. My pool is full of hard water. I pour a bottle of this and it's working within 30 min you can see the difference. It's so clear!! I will use this every I have my pool!

This stuff works!!
I've had issues for years with metal staining on my fiberglass pool. I've tried all sorts of stain & metal removers, both commercial and homemade. Stumbled on this last year and tried it. My pool looked new! Worth every penny. Used it again last week prior to startup, and everything is wonderful again. Just order two more bottles today.

Causes insane phosphates
I used this at the end of the summer of 2023 and when I opened my pool in 2024 the phosphates were the highest they've ever been. It took me most of the summer to get those phosphates out when I had to finally break down and used the concentrated stuff that clouds the water up for a few days and then filters the stuff out. This stuff sequester's the metals and suspends them in the water but it will not get rid of stains and it will not eliminate the metals from your water. Once the metals are in your water it's almost impossible to get them out. The marketing jargon can say whatever it wants but what I just told you is the flat out truth. As with anything like this, adding it to the water is going to put things into the water that turn to phosphates and become algae food. You don't necessarily have to use a phosphate remover but if you don't then you are going to be going through a lot more chlorine in the end. I would suggest just not even bothering with this stuff since it can create more problems than it fixes. Some people have said this stuff messed up their chemistry so bad that the water was cloudy for the rest of the pool season only to find out when they reopened the pool that the chemical balance was completely backwards from what the testing the year before had told them and it all came down to this particular product being the only difference from any other year. Stay away from this junk.

Remove yellowish stubborn stains witheasy
My pool had gotten a mustard yellow stain all over the floor and walls, would not come off with scrubbing. we drained the pool, power washed the lining and refilled it. only to have the stains come right back. with in a few hours of adding the recommended amount the stains came out.
