Cheap but very good
Economical hiking poles. Very sturdy. As sturdy as the 100 dollar brands but cheap. These magically stabilize your gait, making your stride more efficient and more physically economical. Increased My milage and decreased my output. A win win. Fully adjustable.

Great and cheap walking sticks!
Great poles! No real instructions but the price was GREAT. They are very sturdy and changing the height is pretty easy. Remember to tighten the latches by using ROUND knob (at other side of Latch) before putting any weight on poles. Light Weight yet sturdy and they do collapse for transporting. They really help with walking especially if you knees or hips hurt. They take off the burden on those joints. They come with a bag and and different kind of feet for pole ends

Excellent poles with key features not found in others but with a minor design flaw
Just tried these in Glacier National Park and they performed well. Got the twist lock version, which is much better than the other types because (i) poles are lighter, and most importantly (ii) poles include internal shock absorbers, which are very useful on the downhill. Poles supported my weight well both uphill and downhill, and only rarely slid. Key to using the shock absorbers is to activate them by twisting back just a bit until hearing a click after tightening. This is not well explained in the product description but it is a very useful function. Straps have the correct design, which (unlike many other inexpensive poles out there) lay flat on the palm of the hand when grabbing them correctly (see videos on the internet about how to correctly use the straps to grab hiking poles). However, a minor design flaw: the stopper of the straps was placed too far into the strap end while the other end has thicker width that prevents the strap from reducing its size. This makes the straps too big for normal-sized hands without gloves. I have big hands and the straps were way too big for me, resulting in my grip being 2 inches below the optimal gripping point which is at the very top. After returning from my trip, I solved this problem by changing the straps for ones from an old pair of poles that don't have this design flaw. I'd recommend the product owner to redesign the straps. Nevertheless, these are excellent poles that overdeliver for the price they cost.

Excellent Quality!
What a great surprise to open the package and find a product with thoughtful design and clear instructions. The cork grips are very comfortable, the poles are lightweight & extremely sturdy and even attractive. The sizing can be easily adjusted in seconds. It's easy to see that the tips/guards will hold up over years of use. The zipper bag is even high quality! Very happy with this purchase!

Awesome Hiking Poles!!
These lightweight hiking poles are fantastic! Everything I expected and More! (For those of you who review and state that these poles "slip"... C'mon now, read the easy-to-understand instructions. Hand tighten the 4 small screws! No tools needed.) The poles come with a nice carrying case and different end tips for snow, mud, and hard surfaces. The cork grips are sweet. Hiking poles are not meant to bear your full weight, BTW, just guide you along. They sure do assist while carrying a heavier backpack. Great value! High quality! Looks professional! Totally awesome.

Actually Worth The Investment
I decided to start hiking in the great outdoors not long ago and I purchased this set of trekking poles specifically for a mountain peak hike, and I admittedly bought this set because they were the cheapest at the time of my purchase (cork handles), $20.60 new. I was very skeptical about the uses for these, based on what I had seen in videos, which only had people demonstrating them on rather flat, or moderate inclines. Nothing I saw in the demonstrations suggested that these would be more than minimal use/effectiveness. Still, the set was cheap, so I bought them, just in case... boy, what a lucky/smart decision that was. The mountain peak trail I was hiking went up over 3k feet in 4 miles, I did not see how these would help, so I only carried 1 up with me, in case I was confronted by a rattle snake, or something. I never did use them going up the mountain, so on this hike, where the one pole I brought up with me really shined was on the descent. The trail is very steep, and on the way down I slipped twice, ate gravel once (I slipped toward the cliff edge and had no choice but to throw myself down into the gravel), and from there I made use of the pole, almost like a cane, going down the rest of the way. I did not even come close to slipping again once I made use of that one pole. I also noticed that using the pole for added stability also resulted in far less impact on my joints, which is a huge deal for me because I am in the early stages of osteoarthritis. In the hiking adventures that have followed, I have used these poles religiously. I hiked into the grand canyon and used these both for the descent in, and the ascent back out. I again noticed how much easier on my joints it was, using both poles this time, and on the ascent out of the canyon I was able to use the poles for additional leverage in the climb, which made for a much easier, but still very challenging, climb. On another mountainous canyon hike, they were again indispensable for the ascent, the descent, and providing additional stability/slip protection. Think of it like maneuvering with 4 legs instead of only 2. My point in sharing these experiences is that trekking poles are not a gimmick. Depending on your hike, they may be more of a necessity than you might think. Especially for very steep and challenging climbs and descents, or if you're hiking through a wash with boulders and lots of rocks. I am still skeptical of their value on flat hikes with minimal inclines, but I supposed they'd still be good to bring along in the event of unexpected steep inclines/descents. As for these poles, I found them to be fantastic. I got a real deal when I made my purchase! These are stable, They are strong, they are not heavy, they don't slip, they are easy to adjust, and the clamps hold tightly. They were well worth what I had paid for them, and I would still agree with that assertion had I paid twice the amount that I did. If you like long, strenuous, steep hikes, you won't do wrong with these.

Great trekking poles for a good price
great set of hiking poles. comes with different tips. easy adjust. light and sturdy, I never used likes before but hiked Mt Whitney and I needed safety on icy rocks and snow. these did perfect and came same day. I didn't have any problems with the adjustments getting loose throughout the hikes and I adjusted a multiple times based on going up or down so I appreciated adjustables.

SUPERIOR TREKKING POLES
Love these trekking poles! They are lightweight and the handles are very comfortable. The adjustability is amazing and the adjustment locks hold exceptionally well. They offer an increased upper body workout during walks and add stability when it has snowed or is icy. This is my second pair. The first pair served me well for 5 years, but my dog chewed the handles. I walk 4-5 miles daily year round and highly recommend this brand.
