Not stale. Large whole unbrokeneaves . Smells good. I use them in my cabinets and pantry laying about 4 spread each into a corner then putting cushionish shelf liner on top. They are a natural bug repellent and work great! This bag is HUGE! I am going to spread a bunch in the corners and along the walls of my garage and storage unit..I can think of a bunch of uses other than cooking.Then go to my daughter's house and do hers. I may end up using almost half a bag if even that much!

It is dry leaves that smells very good. There are so many dry leaves in a lb! I don't use that many bay leaves for cooking, this will last for a long time.

Instead of paying four dollars for 10 leaves in the grocery store I passed out quart baggies of leaves with everyone in my family. Best money I ever spent. Really Great flavor. 75% of the leaves were complete and not broken. I will buy these again. In a few years ha ha
