Works great, now I’m back in business vacuuming and picking up after my fur babies. Easy to replace-2 screws and done.

This battery lasts less than a year and begins to lose power after about 10 minutes of use on low suction. And worse on high, it almost won’t even run on high suction. I expected better performance.

Bought this as a back up in November 2024. Finally needed it in September 2025. Installed it and it said still had 2 bars of battery left. Went to test it on the Dyson and works fine. Went to charge it but it wont charge. My fault for not testing it when I first bought it.

I purchased this replacement battery for my Dyson V8 and it fits and looks just like the original. It charges like normal, as far as I can tell and lasts about 20 minutes. Thus, not real powerful in that sense, but neither did my original battery last much longer. Plus, the price was great!

I must say upfront that I have had a lot of problems with many of the batteries that I have ordered to use on my dyson vacuums. However, this one seems to be working fine so far. It charges easily and quickly, snaps into place without problems and seems to last as long as the dyson battery. I will repost in the future if I run into problems with the battery like it losing its power or being more difficult to charge. Right now I can cautiously recommend this battery to use with your dyson vacuums to give you more running time to finish vacuuming your home.

I’ve purchased multiple Dyson vacuum “rechargeable batteries” from Amazon prior, and neither you, nor I the typical purchaser, should expect anywhere near 2 hrs on a single charge. That said... This is an absolute piece of garbage, even after an all night charge, it ran for MAYBE two minutes at best. And that may be a very, VERY generous estimate. Me, in my ultimate wisdom, had tossed all the packaging associated with said piece of garbage before testing. My bad... lesson learned. This review is being written to prevent subsequent “potential buyers” from this seller and this product. If I had to guess, and forgive me because that is all it is, albeit an educated guess, is that this was a reject, formerly identified POS, (and that’s not an acronym for point of sale folks), that was previously sold to an unsuspecting consumer such as myself. If I had one piece of advice, it would be to avoid this seller at all cost. I seriously doubt that I would get any sort of positive response/feedback/compensation etc., from said seller, much less an apology, but like I said that’s my bad. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. As The Who would sing... Won’t Get Fooled Again!!! Buyer beware!!!
