Love this chopper. I have another one, actually 3 other ones, but they are going to Goodwill. We have been married for 60+ years. He loves salad. I do not like to make salad. I bought this, after all these years, and we have had salad almost every day. So easy! I make it all in the container. So many kinds of veggies. It takes minutes, and I am done until dinner, when I add the tomatoes, croutons and grab the dressing, which I have time to make. I learned early that this has very sharp blades and must be handled and washed with care. It's worth it! I'm really happy I made this purchase.

This is a handy kitchen tool to have! Great for preparing a chopped salad quickly with all pieces the same bite size.

I may add a photo in the near future to show dicing blade size comparison. I just packed this up today to return. I had bought two different vegetable choppers to compare. This one has a larger than usual area for dicing, which is why I made this purchase. (Do note that the OTHER blades are not oversized. It’s just the two dicing blades that are larger.). The larger than usual dicing blade is at least an inch or more larger in length & width than the other brand I also purchased to try. I think these two dicing blades are close to 4” x 3.50” when I measured. However, I found the Ruk dicing blade too difficult to press down and I work out at the gym! I used the smaller of the two dice sizes, too. I believe it is because even the smallest squares for the dicing blades are nowhere as small as in the comparison product. That one was a breeze at dicing carrots, onions and celery. Since I hurt my rib leaning over on an older one to add my body weight to it, it was a joy to be able to easily press down to prepare veg for a soup on the OTHER model. For this Ruk chopper, I did slice the carrot as thin as I could, as well as halving the celery stalks. Since this was the reason for buying it in the first place, rather than all the other blades and attachments, (including an enticing spiralizer), I am returning it. I am keeping the other one (different brand) that works easiest for me, though I do lose the additional square inches of space this one offers. I have made the other one work by just cutting the veg smaller. We all know there is no perfection in this world! Pros and cons to everything! Also, if you’re making a soup like I am that includes onions, carrots and celery, the smaller the pieces, the shorter the time they take to cook, and with a red lentil soup, you don’t need to cook longer than 20 minutes or so. When I use my hand emulsifier to make the soup creamy, the smaller pieces work blend better. Another point I should add for those who have limited storage space is that due to the larger bottom which catches all the food, it does require more space. For my purposes, it was actually overkill in size, as I’m not cooking for more than two people and don’t even need that much space for the vegetables to fall. I hope this helps someone. I was disappointed that the dicing blade didn’t have smaller squares, and that is just didn’t cut through as efficiently as the one I’m keeping.

I’ve only ever used this a handful of times, and only one setting. But this has been such a wonder buy! Functional, easy to use, helpful in so many quick and safe ways for multiple kitchen needs! So far seems good and steady

Just got it! And I love it! Easy and fast chopping I’ve used it several times now.

Not as sharp as I hoped. I have to push down several times and then it breaks the skin of the tomatoes but doesn't cut clean.

Great gift,and the price can't stand

I LOVE this vegetable chopper; I use it just about every day! I especially love it for cutting onions; the onions get cut so fast, they don't make my eyes burn. The blades are very sharp, and I have used it for onions, peppers, zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, carrots, and more. I haven't had too many problems cleaning it; mushrooms have been the worst since they are soft and tend to get stuck. The slicer works great; I just made a huge cucumber salad in record short time since I could get the cucumbers cut nice and thin very quickly. I'm making a lot more stir-fry vegetables since it's so easy to slice/chop with this. I've had other choppers in the past that were flimsy, but this one is quite sturdy. The chopping grids are easy to change. I highly recommend this chopper!

This RüK chopper set is awesome — it makes food prep so much faster and easier. The blades are sharp, the container is sturdy, and I love that it comes with so many attachments (even a lemon squeezer and egg separator!). It’s easy to clean and saves me a ton of time when cooking. Perfect for chopping onions, slicing veggies, or making salads without the mess. If you enjoy cooking but dislike prep work, this is a lifesaver!
