Update on previous review: after some use, I change my rating from 2 to 4 stars. I find this stand works very well for my kindle and I love the clamps. It is great for reading in bed. This might not be the best stand for my laptop, but it is perfect for this. Also, although it Doesn’t look sturdy, . I find it to be holding up very well so far.First, I was disappointed as soon as i took the stand out of the box. The quality of the product is very low. it is made out of a cheap black plastic and not very sturdy. However, I did buy it just to use to elevate my laptop while working, so I can overlook that.Second, It is hard to adjust and it took me a while to get to the desired height and angle that I wanted. This is the first laptop stand I have tried, so I have no previous experience to compare the product to.It does hold my laptop and performs the function I need it for. I will keep messing around with the adjustments and see if it grows on me. If not, I will switch to another option.

Okay once you get it set up - but not at all easy to adjust. Can be frustrating. Now that I have it set the way I want, I hope not to have to readjust it. Feels a little flimsy. I haven’t used the cooling feature - I’ve been using it with iPad. Good for reading and saves on neck strain.

When I first took it out of the bag I was a little bit skeptical. It didn't look very sturdy... I was a little bit disappointed, I was already thinking about how was I going to return it..... however! After trying it out for a day.... I love it! It is actually really great! What I love about it is that you can completely customize the height you want it at. Before I received it I thought it might be flimsy and the legs might give out and not hold the table where you want it at... But no! Each leg has its own lock and what is best is that it has the degrees displayed in each leg so you can position each leg exactly to the same angle. That is really really awesome! I thought about getting one of the other tables that have the legs you pull out and that's it.... you get the size you get and you have to make it work. Well I LOVE that this one you can customize the height however you want. The default height of another table might now work for you on the couch or the bed but this one you can completely customize to fit however you want it to fit. THAT is really awesome! You do not get that with one of the other tables that have the legs one size only. BUT one thing... the legs do not go high enough to put on the floor and be high enough to work on the couch. Unless you place it on top of a coffee table of something. However, for the couch or bed it is great!! I absolutely love that I can position it exactly how I want and then still angle the table a little bit more to get it just perfect. Definitely, if you like to get some work done on your bed this is a great table! And it is big enough for you computer but small enough to not take up space and you can still have all your paperwork or what not on the bed. Really great table. However, I've had it for about a day so let's see how it keeps up.

I started an online continuing education course that required a lot of reading from paper copy while on the computer. My eyesight is failing and I bought the desk to hold the copy high enough for me to read so my hands would be free for typing--while sitting cross legged in a cozy overstuffed chair.The table is so versatile and light, it easily fits the chair while I work and is easily moved over to a side table when I need to get up and down.There are a lot of things that I buy to "see if it will work". This desk has turned out even better than expected. If anything would happen to it--like I give it to a friend who admires it--I would immediately get myself another one.

Order came quicker than the estimated shipping date considering it was shipped internationally.My first impression was that it was lightweight and cheaply made. Second impression after using it changed my mind.Its sturdy plastic and metal. Extremely easy to figure out without instructions. Although the distance between the legs are a little small its perfect for my body to fit. adjustment buttons are convenient and the adjustment bars stay in place. I really like this product. The usb fan works perfectly as well which is convenient for my laptop. This was a fantastic purchase and I would buy it again if anything happened to this one.

Honestly a very nice little table that does just what it is supposed to do ( for the most part). I like how it changes into various shapes and then snaps into place. However, it is a little hard to make the adjustments, because you have to push in the buttons really hard and keep them pushed in until you have the right angles ( what is nice is that all the angles are labeled, so you know what exactly what you are clicking into – and they have several "recipe suggestions" for the angles needed for a particular conformations). I do sort of wish there was an easier way to adjust than having to push the buttons in so hard. However, this may be the only safe way to keep everything secure – it just does not easily fold up in a minute. The other slightly annoying thing is that I wish the clips were just a little bit less shallow – because they barely fit my iPad with the light protector in the back. But other than that, it's a fun toy. Are use it for watching TV or checking email in bed-- which was especially handy when I was out sick for a week. I also loaned mine to my mom when she had eye surgery and had to lie face down for several days – and allowed her to watch TV in that position also, this time with the table showing the device facing up. The last thing I am enjoying it for is that I sometimes do online tutoring over FaceTime. This allows me to position both my phone and my iPad facing me hands-free -- so I can FaceTime with my phone and bring up a textbook on my iPad at the same time, all without shuffling around. I love it.
