Sharp, sharp, sharp… and fast
Put it in and haven’t taken it off. Super fast auto focus and easy manual focus too, nice firm f stop movement. Super crisp all the way to the edges. Perfect for portraits and street, yep, it is big and heavy but that f1.2 is something to behold, creamy bokeh, great subject differentiation. Like it very much.

Stunning image quality, blazing fast and accurate autofocus. A special lens.
This is a truely special lens, second only to my 135mm 1.8 GM - it has a fair amount of heft to it but thats to be expected for a 1.2 - does not fail to impress. If you are looking for the best all round 50mm lens for Sony look no further.
