Translation Errors and Typos
I bought this book because I study and write papers on Russian and Eastern European philosophy. The translation is not great but it serves its purpose. I recommend getting the original Russian version on Kindle and read it along side this translation. There are only minor typos within the book. However, on page 134, they mistranslate the word "головокружению" as "giddiness." However, this word means 'dizziness.' The book is littered with inconvenient typos and mistranslations such as these. While I bought this book in order to write a paper on Shestov's critique of logic, I will most likely refrain from referencing this book. But if you are purchasing this book for personal pleasure, then the translation is good enough. But academically, this translation needs a complete reworking.
