Great Book
Great book for little kids. Very recommended. My son loves it and can relate to everything in the book.I wish they used the word “masjid” instead of “mosque”.I didn’t find the Arabic word for “Allah” like other review mentioned except for in pictures on the wall. They are not part of the texts.

Simplistic does the job but was expecting better content
We have the whole collection of these books. They are just okay in my opinion. Theyre simplistic and repeat the names hassan and aneesa way too much. Theres lots of potential. Personally i was dissapointed after purchasing these books after seeing all the great reviews. The phsyical book quality could be improved too.Saying that the illustrations are great and if revised the stories could be a lot better!!

Poorly written. The word allah is written in Arabic ...
Poorly written. The word allah is written in Arabic randomly throughout the book. This is a children's book and will be tossed around and taken into the bathroom by my children. The story seams ideal, but it does not represent school anxiety for children, which is what I was expecting. The story line is basic, kids come home from school, eat a snack, go to "madrasa", write Arabic alphabet, read Quran, color, eat a snack, pray, and go home. That's it.I was expecting a book about going to school for the first time (normal school, not an after school type of school), that my child can relate to. This was definitely not it. Even in the event my child went to "madrasa", I would not get this book.

Great book for introduction to Islam
This is a very nicely written introductory book for children aged 2 - 5 years old. We have all the books in this series and my daughter loves them.

Another good book from the same collection!
We already loved "Hassan and Aneesa go to Masjid" and this second book met our expectations too! It is obviously a book about an arabic/islamic school (sunday school type) that some may call "madrasa" in a western context, and not about a regular school.
