Q: Can you use this belt to carry a S&W 686 Plus 3 inch (36.8oz) without it loosening at the buckle or drooping where the holster is attached?

I've been wearing this belt with everything from little .380's to extended barrel .45's. Never had a problem with belt loosening. in fact seems to hold better over time.

Q: I’m a security guard and just need a belt with no metal to fill the belt loops and help keep my pants up? I don’t carry on the job so will this work?

This belt should work great. I wear mine as a weekend daily wear and have no issues. Be sure to check the width of your belt loops for the belt width.

Hi,i have 3 belts different colors. Tactical no,if you want correct milspec the belt should have a metal retainer. But this belts are awesome men .

Q: Why does the listed material change from 100% nylon to a 65% poly/35% cotton blend when I select 36-38" black?

The description for that color and size was entered incorrectly. They are all 100% nylon. I've got the 36-38 black and it's nylon.
