Its bizzare to wax lyrical about a toilet roll holder but ITS SO PRETTY !!!!!! we redid the whole bathroom and got all the matching pieced they are beautiful, I see this the most because its highly visible by the toilet and every time I sit down I admire this :) its really lovely.Its actually super easy to use, ok this sounds silly they are all the same but my last one the snappy middle thing could be a slippery pain lol nothing terrible but honestly this is much easier to handle all around, its solid and smooth and IT LOOKS SO PRETTY. I recommend this whole set.

Kohler makes quality products.

This is a nice looking product that matches nicely to the faucet I have in my powder room. But I was disappointed that it was described as having a pivoting feature (which it did not have). I liked it enough to keep it anyway.

Wife wanted polished brass for remodeled bathroom. Matches our current Kohler faucet. Very sturdy.

It's hard to find decently made anything anymore, and I didn't have the time to read 8000 reviews, so I just went with the Kohler branded option. The nice things about this:1) Actual metal used, including for the little spring bar that the roll sits on (although admittedly the spring bar itself is very light gauge)2) Thoughtful use of wide bases to hide any damage done by the screws that hold this to the wall (in my case, I used better wall mounting hardware behind it, and the result is that the plaster and paint "curdled" a bit, but this was easily hidden behind the extra wide decorative bases)3) Relatively intelligent modular design (not that this matters to the buyer) - but since I have several items from this collection, I can see how the manufacturing works and how they combine various basic pieces to make these things, and there is some nice design in there4) Intelligent base cover tighteners - designed to go on in only one way, and tightening in such a way that they easily go flush to the wall.Again, none of this is rocket science, and these are over-priced (you're paying for the Kohler brand and the knowledge that you won't throw it away in disgust when you receive it).Note: The little plastic wall anchors that are included are fine if you never plan to use the thing, but otherwise you should use something more like this: http://smile.amazon.com/Drilling-Drywall-Anchors-Phillip-Screws/dp/B00NP5TT6S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1456326348&sr=8-1&keywords=E-Z+Ancor+Stud

I love that I could get it in brass, as usually we do not get a choice of colour here in Canada, just the boring silver colour. Excellent quality, and is a great design.

The website stated pivot arm but it is spring loaded roll. Was very disappointed when it arrived. There is no pivot arm in the Devonshire line

the holder itself is cheap probably wont last but the outside mechanics is great

Looks great, but can't rate performance as it won't be installed for a few weeks.
