Sturdy and handy to have
This came with 2 grabbers. My husband and I each have one now. They are quite strong for picking up items, especially great for reaching shelves in the cupboard that I cannot reach. They fold in half to take up less room while not using them.

Good value
I bought these to replace an old one . They arrived as described and work getting canned goods off the top shelves. My husband is handicapped but can work the grabbers with ease. They are sturdy and work with ease.

Perfect…as long as you stick to LIGHT WEIGHT ITEMS!
I have purchased these, and several other types of grabbers, many times over the past few years. Through several different cases of trial and error I can say, without hesitation, that the type of claws used on this brand of grabber is the BEST, hands down (pun intended)…the best for ME at least. There seems to be two major differences in the bulk of the moderately priced grabbers. I can’t speak, at all, to any pricey grabbers cuz I stick to the grabbers which sell for a maximum of $25 per unit. There’s several reasons for this; I’m a senior citizen who, like many other seniors, lives on a fixed income. Most of us have discovered that pension check and monthly social security benefits just don’t go as far as we would hope. I’ve also discovered a MAJOR DOWNSIDE to getting this old is you seem to remember just how much everything cost when you were younger and so you become ‘that’ old person..yup turn into THAT old biddy who will stand there and tell friends, family and strangers alike just how much each item cost when you first started driving (cost of gas), cooking (cost of food) or shopping (pretty much the price of anything else). Did I just go off on a tangent? Yeah, another side effect of aging, you start off down one road and then suddenly you realize you have digressed. Long story short, (boy is it too late for that!) grabbers which sell for <$25 or 2 for $36 will give good value for the money. The major difference commonly found with the grabbers is the method used to secure the ‘fingers’ to the hand. The majority of the ‘fingers’ are glued onto the hand, the other method is either screwed on or riveted down. All of the grabbers I have used and discarded have had the rubber of the fingers secured over a small lip or plastic rim and then glued in place. Depending upon how much you use the grabber, the weight of the items you are picking up, and most importantly, the temperature and humidity of the environment where you’re using the grabber will determine how much life you will see from the grabber. I have found that the fingers which are screwed or riveted onto the hand definitely have a longer lifespan. I’m not a big fan of these folding or collapsible grabbers due to the inherent weakness of the pole at the ‘joint’. I spent waaaayyyy too much time trying to pick up one of my bed pillows. I’m talking about a standard size pillow (in its pillowcase) which kept slipping off the grabber due to the weight. When I was able to grab the pillow and begin to lift it the pole would begin to bend, to the point I worried that it would snap. I was eventually able to flick the pillow onto the bed without damaging the grabber. It’s a standard size Sealy pillow and I stopped using concrete pillowcases two years ago so you should all be able to guesstimate the weight of the item which was almost outside the capabilities of the grabber. I, perhaps erroneously, chalked the problem up to the shape, as well as the size and weight of the pillow. Okay so I learned that I need to concentrate on NOT knocking my pillows off the bed. The best use for these folding grabbers is for picking up small, lightweight items. I have not yet picked up ANY cans or jars of food with these grabbers. Essentially I have truly grown wary of being hit in the face by cans or bottles of food or beverages. I’m short so grabbing a can or bottle from a cabinet or the fridge has often resulted with me looking like a battered woman. So I pretty much go with avoidance, if I can’t reach the can, bottle or jar that I want then I just set my sights a little lower, literally and figuratively. So yes, I heartily recommend these grabbers.* Have a blessed day y’all. *I was NOT happy with my latest purchase of these babies thanks to the seller (Varjac) sending me a package which had been returned by another customer. One grabber was fine while the other fingers on the other ‘hand’ wouldn’t come within two inches of each other. I have a problem with ANY SELLER selling/sending a package to ANY CUSTOMER which has been returned by ANYONE. Even if the customer does NOT report a problem with the product it SHOULD NOT be sold as NEW to another customer. That product is NO LONGER NEW and should be sold by the seller as an open box like new or in the case of the product I received, it should NOT have been sold to anyone else. If a seller receives a defective product and they have the item refurbished they STILL should NOT be allowed to sell that product as new. This has happened to me TWICE in one month so I believe Amazon has an issue with their sellers which I believe they need to resolve QUICKLY! It’s bad enough that we get stuck with the disposable C*R*A*P from China, which is not supposed to be disposable, but to have sellers passing on defective goods is insult on top of injury. I think the sellers are gambling that the customer will toss the item in the trash rather than go through the hassle of a return, especially if the item is an inexpensive item. Come on Amazon, are you listening?

Gets the job done!
Easy to use with arthritic hands and has good reach with more precise grip. Good value for the price..

A more sturdier gripper than the previous ones I've bought and had to replace TOO OFTEN!
These grabbers are better quality than chintzy other brands I've bought at at another online store ("W"). I especially was surprised at how deft the little round rubber pincher discs are so sensitive that I can actually pick up a little tiny plastic cap typically used on 1 gallon plastic water or milk jugs. Plus, the moving mechanisms and parts are stronger than the last two plastic gripper tools I've bought at local retail stores.

I am a short Geocacher, so this tool is a must!
I am a very short Geocacher, so sometimes reaching in high places to retrieve and replace a cache can be a challenge. Sometimes they hide in covered picnic areas in parks, high overhead, or maybe up on a tree limb. This grabber is an absolute must for me to get to these places. And, there are two in package, so my husband uses the other one to pick up items that fall on the floor, or when he’s out walking the ‘girls,’ our cocker spaniels and see litter. It’s a great price and work well for both of us. His hangs in the pantry and mine lives in the back of my buggy (my Subaru). They are lightweight, made really well and the perfect size to reach the ground without bending over or reaching high with having to pull out the step stool. At a certain age, it’s really not safe to be climbing up and down ladders if you don’t need to. It a good purchase. I think you’ll find a lot of uses for the grabbers.

Helpful for sure...
So bought this set for a disabled client... it is very helpful and it helps him to not have to bend over to pick things up. One of them broke about a week in. I replace it easily because they aren't too expensive. So this works great for little things but anything to heavy can break this grabber. But for regular smaller things like cans of food, small things in high shelves, papers, trash on he floor. The magnets on the tip are helpful for metal small things like nails, paper clips, metal pens or lighters with metal tip guards. This is a great tool for light things that you need a little help picking up.
