Posi-Tap Red (10) Inline Wire Connectors 18-24, GA, AWG, Electrical Fastener, WIRE NOT INCLUDED

These things are a Godsend for quick and easy connections working inside the car if you don’t solder or you have no confidence in yourself to do it well. I used them to connect a reverse camera that comes with fragile, hard to manipulate, ultra thin wires that wouldn’t crimp well. I was able to slice the sheathing back on the camera wires and get a tight, solid, tug-resistant connection to the power and ground wires out of the head unit. It's really as simple as advertised. Put the main wire you want to splice into into the cradle on the one end, screw that tight until it the spike goes in and you can't turn it any further. Put the exposed twisted strands of the wire you need to tie into the existing line into the cap on the other end and screw that until you can't turn it anymore. Protecting it all with electrical tape doesn't hurt as a little extra insurance. I ordered the connectors for 18 gauge wire but used them for 16. This guarenteed a snug fit in the cradle for the main wire and the spike going in solidly in through the middle. Got a tight, solid, dependable connection with about 10 total minutes of work. Camera works great. Didn’t have to mess with splicing or cutting the head unit wires and risk damaging them, or a wrap and tape hack job that might give me problems later like the last one did. On both ends of the connection just don’t be afraid to twist the screw until you feel like it won’t turn further.

Where have these little guys been all my life. They are easy to use, don't require any cutting, stripping or splicing. They are removable and nobody can even tell you were ever there. Great for wiring into a leased vehicle or similar that you would need to return without evidence of tampering.

The media could not be loaded.  Easy to use not difficult at all and I will say once it feels tight don't go any further they will break I would twist enough to where it would just tight enough and even though not in the video I actually put liquid electric tape later for a more weather tight seal

I love these wire connectors and was pleased to find these available on Amazon. Simple to use and fool proof in operation these connectors provide effective connections with no need of solder or special tools to crimp the terminals.My only concern is the cost, these handy terminals can cost close to a dollar apiece and to me that's excessive as these are simple terminals to produce. Three sizes are available and they should last forever as they are reusable should you decide to upgrade your wiring , overall I am very pleased with this product.

Way better than using conventional wire taps and way more convenient than soldering.5/5 I will be using this product again for future car amplifier installs, 15 dollars is a small price to pay for how much time and headache you save.

These are very well made the one thing I was worried about is if the plastic threads could hold up if you really tighten them down and they have held up great and have great connection for power I used these to connect my new LED backup lights on my SUV to the original tail light wires as I didn't want to splice into the original tail light wires soldering is not a problem for me but that's not the only reason to buy these its keeps things nice and clean much cleaner then peeling off insulation on the wire and wrapping another one around it and soldering these are phenomenal little invention.

Used these for a car stereo installation, to tap parking brake wire for dvd. First attempt with a different connector was awkward in limited space and not successful. The Posi-Tap connector was fantastic. Installed quickly and clearly, success on first attempt!These arrived in a small zip lock bag (padded envelope, shipping was quick and product protected). Very straightforward to install. Instructions did not accompany product, but are easily found online if needed.

So much better than scotch locks. Pretty foolproof install and doesn’t wreck OEM wiring
